Works as advertised
Works great on bermuda grass. I had a big area loaded with bermuda grass. It cleared all out in 1 application.

Did not do anything to the Bermuda grass
I bought 3 bottles of this, because I've used Bayer products previously and they worked well. I have a tall fescue lawn and it must have gotten infected with Bermuda grass from the paid mowers coming into the neighborhood. Label says it does 5,000 square feet. I used 1/2 bottle on and area about 1500 square feet. It sprays out quickly, and you want to get the whole thing wet. Others on here were complaining about the product not coming out, that was NOT my problem. I called Bayer a couple years ago, and they told me that you have to squeeze the bottle a few times as you are spraying the product to make sure it's coming out. THAT works! And there is a clear view of the product on the bottle so you can see that it is going down.I waited and waited over a month, and nothing happened. About a week ago I sprayed the same area with the other 1/2 bottle, and I see NO results, the Bermuda grass isn't turning yellow, shriveling up or anything.I'm going to have to buy some other product. It's summer and if you don't kill it in Summer you have little chance in the dormant months. Really disappointed, what is happening to Bayer Crop Science?

Effective spray
Happy with the item's effectiveness against crabgrass & bermuda grass. Bottle is easy to hook up to a garden hose, and is easy to turn on/off.

Decent weed killer for Bermuda grass
Good if you have a lot of Bermuda grass to kill. But not great if you are trying to do spot treatments

It Killed My Bermudagrass
I guess I'm a little puzzled by the results that others are getting with this product. Bottom line, this stuff DOES KILL bermudagrass...but it takes a least a week before you will start to see any results.I had several patches of bermudagrass trying to establish itself in my yard. I have common ground next to my property, and I suspect that the mowing company hired by my subdivision carried in the seed on their commercial mowers. The stuff spread into my yard and was getting out of hand until I found this Bayer product offered by Amazon. The trick is to spray the affected areas (making sure the grass is thoroughly wetted), and then wait a week or so to see how well you sprayed it. After the week or so, the bermudagrass will start turning brown. Hit it again with this Bayer product...bermudagrass is very tough to control. The hotter the weather gets, the faster this stuff grows. Add some rain or a sprinkler, and it will spread like crazy. My yard is a mixture of bluegrass and fescue, and the bermudagrass sends out runners through the other grass. These will root, and if you just spray the easily visible plant, you may not be getting the runners. So make sure you spray a larger area. This product has never fazed my bluegrass/fescue mix lawn, even in the hottest temperatures (and I have used this product for at least four years). It just kills the bermudagrass. My results speak for themselves...I have eradicated this pesky bermudagrass on my property, and am attacking the adjacent common ground to keep the stuff out of my yard.Another important point is that you won't kill it out in one season; you have to keep at it for at least a few years. Anyone that has really tried to eliminate crabgrass or weeds in their lawn knows this. I just placed an order for more of this product; it may be a little pricey but it does work. The neighbor that borders the common ground on the other side of me used the 'nuclear option' with a herbicide to kill everything - including his grass. He got rid of the bermudagrass, but now a large part of his lawn is now barren. Mine is still green with the bermudagrass under control.

It seems to be working!
I did my second application of this last week. My first application was about 3 months ago. I did not notice much effect after the first treatment but this second one has produced excellent results. After a few days I found long strands of bermuda grass just laying on top of my tall fescue, brown and dying (a good amount is completely dead, roots and all). It's no longer hiding and running along the soil. I'm leaving it for a few more days and then going to remove it. I've checked some of it and not all runners are dead - some are still green but don't seem as attached to the ground so I think the roots have been compromised. The fact that I can now easily see it and remove it is great. I don't have a huge infestation but a decent amount and far more than I could see before. While expensive, this stuff goes a long way. Application is easy but I do have a double ended nozzle that I connect to the hose and then connect the bottle to. I bought this nozzle for about $4 on amazon after seeing it recommended by another reviewer. I now use it for all hose-end products. This gives much better control of the spray. That said, watch the overspray/drift. Even a minor amount did serious damage to my roses. I had a lot of die-off and had to prune aggressively. I would suggest a very calm day and either covering adjacent plants or thoroughly wetting prior. That said, there was no damage to my fescue lawn.Long-term results remain to be seen but stuff is definitely dying and that is a success. Less that can spread. I am hoping to find it completely gone after another season. I was going to try ornamec (sp?) but now plan to keep my jug of that on the shelf.

Doesn’t work.
I used this in fall and again in early spring. Waste of money.
