I love puzzles and I love Nativity scenes, so this is perfect! I got the small size. It's a great value for the price, as it is a small work of art. It would make a wonderful gift. This set is all natural wood and very well made, just as pictured and a beautiful addition to my Christmas decor. I may buy another as a gift.

Cute ideas but I wish the print quality was better, it almost looks like a poor picture file was used to print these, almost blurry in spots. Overall cute but would not purchase again

Item is as advertised but BEWARE OF THE CHOKING HAZARD OF SMALL LOOSE PARTS IF THIS IS FOR CHILDREN!Mine will not be in contact with children so that is not a problem for me, but beware that the donkey has a loose wooden part between the legs (as in the attached picture). It also takes a bit of thought to put each piece back together in the frame, so maybe take a pic of the puzzle when you first open it to be sure you know the placement of each figure. It is light enough to be easily portable.For the measurements, see my pics. I got the small version as it will sit on a little side table. If you want to make it the eye-catching center piece, consider getting the bigger version.The picture of each of the pieces in my case had correct borders, it did not spill over into other pieces.The frame and each piece stand upright on their own when on a perfectly flat surface. If you put them on a soft surface or on a cloth doily they will not stand up. The star does not have any way to be attached to the frame (which would defeat the purpose of putting back the pieces when done), but it fits the roof of the frame, which is where I put it (see pic). The pieces show the image on only one side, of course, since the shapes are made to fit the puzzle. Does not look like particularly high quality, but I am completely satisfied with the product I received given that I only paid 11$ for it. Be sure you check the size you prefer before buying it to avoid disappointment.

Things you need to know:1) This is just a puzzle. It’s the thickness of a puzzle (maybe 1/4 inch) and the same thin plywood as a cheap wooden puzzle.2) This is NOT a Nativity set that could also be utilized as a puzzle. It’s a puzzle only. And you can try to make it a nativity set about as well as you can take a race car puzzle and use the little car shapes as cars for kids to play with- lots of imagination and whole lot of frustration.3) Do they stand up, like in the picture? They stand about as well as any other thin, flat bottomed puzzle piece would. You might be able to get them to with a lot of work, but they aren’t stable and topple easily, because they AREN’T parts of a nativity set. It’s only a PUZZLE4) Is it cute? I guess so. But it would be a lot cuter if it were 1/2”-1” thick, could stand up easily like a nativity set, and be the quaint, unique looking nativity set I thought I was ordering.5) will I be sending it back out of sheer disappointment? Sigh, probably not. I AM disappointed (about a 7 on the disappointment scale). But it’s still cute, just not what I was expecting. It’ll be a cute puzzle to add to kid Christmas activities. I guess I’m still on the search for a unique kid friendly nativity set that’s not Caucasian. I mean seriously, Jesus was Israeli, not European or African.6) why did I buy it when so many previous reviews stated the same things I’m stating here? I trusted the pictures and the written description over the reviews. The written description and pics are quite misleading, and I had a “Ima see for MYSELF” attitude of hopeful expectation that I now regret. My vast apologies to all of the reviewers that I doubted. I tip my hat to your voluminous wisdom and wish I had listened.7) And then, after writing this review and submitting it, my puppy devoured 2 pieces of it and now I have to decide whether to order another one, just to replace them. But in case you wanted to know, it WAS easily destroyed in a matter of minutes, so don't let your adorable 10 lb puppy get near it. ;)

It’s a little tricky to put together, even for adults, so take a pic before taking it apart.I do love it though and bought 2 as gifts. I love that it takes up no room at all to store and that it gives the littles an unbreakable nativity to set up. Small pieces, Beware of choking hazard.

This is not thick wood, or carved wood. It's cheap, thin, and printed on. They are so thin they have a really hard time standing up for long - don't breathe on them as they will topple. Not as pictured.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my sister (she collects nativities) and it's definitely one of her favorites as it's unique!
