Great AC Unit! You NEED the Accessory Pack For installation!
Note - you NEED the accessory pack for installation unless you want to cut the proprietary plug off of the AC unit and probe out what 120v wire is which. I have seen a lot of negative comments on this saying it didn't come with any parts, and to be fair it is a little confusing that you need to buy a separate accessory pack. The pack I bought is the "ASA ACRG15 Ceiling Assembly Kit" also on Amazon for around $145, and it comes with a thermostat.I am really pretty happy with this AC unit, or at least the installation. It is April in Montana, so I am not really using the AC quite yet. The install thought was pretty easy, I installed this on an older 5th wheel as my old unit started leaking when running, the big thing you need to know on installation is you naturally need a 20a 120v circuit with a junction box near where you mount the AC, but you also need to have a healthy sized 12v+ wire up there and your furnace switching wire if you'd like to control the furnace with the same thermostat. Then, you just need to pick 4 wires (my old setup used 8, so I ended up abandoning a few) as your A, B, COM, and 12v+ to power the thermostat. All in all, I think it took me about 45 minutes to get installed, and that was with a multimeter figuring out what wire went where. Would recommend.

Faulty product/compressor failed after only 9 months
Update**** it has been a month today and we still do not have AC. My 8 year old is having to stay with his grandmother because the heat made him sick. Please do not buy this product. At this point, it's a health hazard.Compressor failed within 9 months of install. Tried to go through warranty to get a replacement but they're making us jump through hoops and, even after supplying everything they needed, a week later they still haven't shipped the new unit. I regret this purchase.

Overall, excellent unit.
Exact replacement for a duo therm unit I had. It is only the unit, no control board etc., just the unit. 4 bolts, two plug in connectors and about an hour of total time good as new.

Works well so far
Fast shipping. 2 person lift. 30 minute install. 2015 FR3 motorhome. Replaced dometic ac. Was really east. 4 bolts. Two wires. Pull up ladder. Be careful of fins on rear radiator don't get damaged.Chills nicely. Works with old factory thermostat. Very happy with the whole experience. As long as it works and isn't damaged when you get it, you'll do great. We retaped divider that separates intake and outake. That's not part of the new unit, it's below it.

Moves some cold air!
Definitely a good unit! Set it up on the short bus coffee truck! It keeps it really cool all day! It does pull a full 15+ amps when running! Don't skimp on the wiring! Use 12ga awg or 10ga awg with a 20amp breaker! Overkill never hurt anyone!

Air conditioner
Did not get a manual with the AC unit. So I possibly have the wrong unit. Not recognizing the thermostat. Only has a high or low setting. Packaging on interior box wasn't very sturdy.Might be returning it.

incomplete system
no instructions - zero - for thermostats and no thermostat and no distribution panel. Buy this if you want to waste your time and money. I am really really angry with this scam. The manual is complete garbage. Needs a thermostat - no instructions on where to hook that up because the bottom unit doesn't have the wires shown in the manual. RIPOFF.

Good but could be better
Works good but has issues in the design. Easy installation. Design flaw is the drip foam inside isn’t deep enough for the water to drain.
