This is the second one of these I've purchased - first one is still working great with long battery life, and based on that I bought a second for another room. Honestly, this style of lighter works so well and is such an improvement over butane that I'll probably replace all indoor lighters with this kind as the butane ones run out. (Butane seems better for lighting paper quickly on exterior camp fires and such.)Rayonner in particular seems to have good solid build quality. The sliding switch works well after many many not necessarily gentle uses, and the arc stays strong and powerful, even with a sometimes surprising amount of wax / carbon buildup across the contacts. I do try to clean the excess off when it gets egregious, but I'm not real fussy about it and it works great every time regardless. Battery is still holding a long charge after over a year of use on the first one I bought. Charging cable holding up well.In summary, seems to be a good high-quality product improving over the old-school alternative. Impressed me enough that I bothered to write a review about it, lol.

Works great for lightning candles! So it does what it’s supposed to do very well. Only drawback is the high pitch whine of the plasma can bug your ears. Probably a good thing to check your hearing loss! Lol

Easy to use for people with bad hands. No child safety lock. Easy and fast to charge. Used to light candles. Comes with charger cable and need to buy a charger plug. I use an Apple plug.

I bought 2 of these around Christmas time. I gave one to a co-worker who always has a candle going and kept one for myself. Hers seems to be working fine, about a month ago mine would not charge anymore. I tried different charging cords I have around the house and none worked. I decided to buy another one to see if maybe it was just a defective one I got before. If the second or 3 ones have problems I will update my review.

This lighter is slim and easy to work. I light a number of candles around may living/dining room especially during dark winter mornings and the usual butane lighters are hard on my hands. this is easy to work and easy to charge. Just be sure to wipe off the tips once carbon builds up. I forgot and couldn't get it to work, I wrote the vendor and received a quick reply. They said if wiping the tips didn't work they would gladly replace the item. I'm very pleased.

USE THE CHARGER IT COMES WITH. I came to the reviews to figure out why non of my chargers were working and read to use the charger they come with. Thankfully I found one of the two that I threw out and it charged and worked right away!
