Bandai Hobby Figure-Rise Standard Perfect Cell "DRAGON Ball Z" Building Kit

I am a huge fan of all things DBZ. I am building a collection of statues and figures slowly. In my idiocy I didn't even notice that this was a model kit. I just saw the picture and wanted it. It was fun to assemble, there were a few frustrating pieces but I had a good time. The figure is gorgeous once it is finished. It is very poseable and comes with additional hands for when you want to change things up. There is an additional face to put on when you want. There is a separate fireball prop that you can use if you like. The figure is very fragile once it is together. Changing poses often broke it apart in areas. This isn't a big deal because it isn't a toy. This was my first Figure Rise Standard figure and I am pleased with the look and quality for the price I paid. Don't hesitate.

The media could not be loaded. Bandai Hobby gives you the opportunity to build something that you will love at an affordable price.It was a bit overwhelming when I opened the box and saw the sets of all the pieces, but as soon as I started building it I got extremely excited to finish (it took me less than 4 hours). The colors, the texture of Cell's skin and the poses it can do are amazing. It does not come with an action stand.I read a review that said that giving this to a child wasn't a great idea, but I differ. If a 9 - 10 yo child loves to build puzzles or legos (and in this case DBZ, of course) BANDAI HOBBY figures can make a great gift, I would have personally loved this as a child as much as I do now.Can't wait to buy another character!

I gotta say, I bought this bc I thought the figure looked cool. After I ordered, I saw it was a serious amount of assembly, but decided not to cancel. Glad I stuck with it- I really enjoyed putting this together. It’s cool to see how all the little pieces add up to the whole when it’s not obvious. Looking forward to building Gohan tomorrow!(And yes, it looks great)

If you're not sure whether or not you want to buy this let me tell you, this one is so worth it. I was skeptical of the reviews because I've bought model kits in the past that had positive 4-5 star reviews and it turned out to be garbage.. This one is amazing. I had some issues with the interchangeable hands though. Kinda loose. Also doesn't come with an action base so the poses are limited and it takes a second to get it balanced. Like I said though the quality is amazing.

Please read description closely, thought I was buying my son an action figure but in fact is a 3d puzzel that takes very long time to build and falls apart easily. If small interlocking parts are superglue it becomes a very sturdy item. Looks almost exactly like picture.

This is the best thing I have ever bought, every Dragon Ball Z fan should own one! It took about 5 Hours to build and was a lot of fun! Because they are plastic, be sure to take care when removing the pieces from the runner. I used nippers to cut them out leaving a 5mm edge that could be pulled off or filed down. Dont just push the pieces out as this could cause white marks on the plastic.I loved building this so much I already ordered another Figure-rise package to build next :-)

Don't buy it. It's a waste of money. Knowing it is a model and having to be gentle it still isn't enough. The joints are very tight, which would be great if the plastic was so cheap. Just putting it together the arm joint snapped. Take your chance on buying it, hope it doesn't let you down.

I have never built a hobby figure, so when I first opened the box, the amount of parts was somewhat overwhelming. But I have always liked putting things together. So I put on the Cell Saga in the background while I built Perfect Cell and I had good time doing it. The figure is very detailed and you can articulate him into a various amount of poses. Overall for the price, this model is really cool and I would recommend it for any DBZ fan.
