Love all of these
I used it for a lap quilt panel, an unconventional use maybe but nearly everyone who comes in my house and sees it compliments it. It is 100% cotton and has a sort of weave texture to it, and the art style is perfect for outline quilting. If you plan to use them for similar purposes I do recommend washing and drying first to preshrink. In the finished quilt it's clear (especially around the edges) that it did shrink a considerable amount more than the rest of the fabrics I used, but I also used mostly batiks, which don't shrink as much as plain old quilting cotton. Still, I think it would fun to get the whole set and do some for every season, and I just might do that when I finally have time this summer.

Great for lunches
This furoshiki is pretty good quality, not thin or quick fading but a medium weight with a bit of texture to the weave. I suspect it will last a while, certainly in better shape than our very first, thin Daiso ones. I do not recommend the thin fabrics for regular wrapping.I had to get this as soon as I saw it--the shop printed on it reminded me very, very much of one in Nara, near the deer park and in the trees. My husband and I went in on a windy autumn day to have some kitsune udon and ginger spiced amazake. A deer kept trying to peek inside. This is one of my most favorite memories. I bought it around the 4th year anniversary of that trip, wanting to give my husband an every autumn reminder of that time.I use furoshiki over lunch containers. Originally I did this for security to ensure the lid stayed on but the habit stayed with most containers. It makes them look nicer and adds a touch of extra care for loved ones.

Lovely Product
I have been curious about these lovely, little Japanese wrapping cloths for some time. When I found that some included images of cats, I had to see for myself. And, I was delighted when I opened my package. The quality of the cotton, the image itself, and the size are all what I hoped. I wasn't sure exactly how I was going to use this little gem, but right now I'm thinking of including it in a stack of white buffet napkins during informal dinner parties. I'm planning to buy at least three more for me and maybe more as gifts for my friends. There are so many beautiful images to choose from.

Pretty
It's very pretty, good quality, and the colors are vibrant. I've been using them as the focal point for my quilts since I'm a beginner and haven't done appliques yet.

Wrapped gifts for my son’s new cat
The kitten gifts were wrapped with this black cat scene. My daughter in law uses the wrapping to keep for the cat belongings. It was a hit!

I love these
I always buy furoshiki to wrap my presents year round. This one I actually sewed the ends and placed wooden dowel rods through to make a tapestry for someone for a change for the holidays. The image is clear and fabric is a nice quality.

Beautiful Alternative to wrapping paper
I used this to wrap a book I bought as a gift. I am very impressed with the bright colors. The edges are stitched to prevent fraying, and keep in mind you have to buy it in a size that is large enough to fold over. You cannot tape the edges together like paper- I used a silk ribbon to tie the package up. It turned out beautifully, and I think it is a wonderful alternative to paper because it can be re-used over and over.
