I bought this McCormick Cayenne Pepper not for my cooking, but for waging war against the neighborhood raccoons and possums that treat my birdfeeders like an all-you-can-eat buffet. A little sprinkle of this fiery goodness around the feeders, and suddenly those furry bandits aren’t so keen on their midnight snack.Does it work? You bet it does. Watching a raccoon do a hasty retreat after getting a noseful of cayenne is more satisfying than I’d care to admit. However, it does leave my yard smelling like I’m prepping for a massive chili cook-off, and I’m starting to worry the birds might develop a taste for the spicy stuff.4 stars because while it’s effective, I now feel like I’m running a covert spice operation in my backyard. But hey, at least the birdseed is safe—for now.

The best item to keep the mice and rats away from your car. I bought this only to sprinkle around my tires so mice and rats don't crawl inside my car to eat the wires. This truly keeps them away. Been using it for years. It works very well. I use this when I leave my car parked for 1-4 weeks. Especially in the cold rats will come into your car. Use this to keep them away. It's super strong smell which is perfect.

I love adding some extra spice to my foods at the end since my wife doesn't like spicy. This has been a good way. Good on almost anything, I even add to eggs in the morning!
