It's hot yet adds no discernible taste to salsa or other food. Warning—it's very HOT/SPICY! Use only a little at a time and test before adding more.

I bought this McCormick Cayenne Pepper not for my cooking, but for waging war against the neighborhood raccoons and possums that treat my birdfeeders like an all-you-can-eat buffet. A little sprinkle of this fiery goodness around the feeders, and suddenly those furry bandits aren’t so keen on their midnight snack.Does it work? You bet it does. Watching a raccoon do a hasty retreat after getting a noseful of cayenne is more satisfying than I’d care to admit.
