Story is good. The way it presented is good.But there are so many characters which makes you confused while reading. Characters are not described well here. You may need to read twice to understand fully.

I couldn't put the book down till I finished it. Brilliant writing that takes you through the mazes of heavier human emotions.

Such a sad story, so many lives. So much loss. Yet the hope at the end. Unbelievable. A master story.

Apparently this book has raving reviews, which is the reason why I wanted to read it in the first place. However, it just didn't work for me. Maybe, the fact that the characters were pretty flat, having stereotypical thoughts and actions, or due to the fact that I guessed the ending somewhat halfway through the book.However, I must say the writing was extremely fresh when it comes to crime fiction that led me to finish this one off.

Slow paced but hooked nonetheless, with amazingggg ending! This book made me cry, felt lost n bored sometimes, go philosophical n introspect/show gratitude towards my own blessed life.. overall a good read no doubt! Ending is worth it to read the whole book... Go For It.

Just for the emotions, plot, twists. No wonder it got the adoration it deserved. Could not keep it down from half way through the book.

We often forget about those that are touched by a crime. And it's this that Chris has written about.The last twist is mind-blowing...a must read for anyone who is into fiction.
