Worth the Risk, Great Results.
The media could not be loaded. Suggest reading reviews for this product before use/purchase. 99% of order was defect free, other 1% had minor issues that can be hidden. Overall a good purchase. There is an annoying film covering, but easily removed with a sewing pin. Sublimation was excellent at 385F for 45 seconds with a Cricut Easy Press.

Love them!
These are nice. They sublimated well. The only thing make sure you peel the top clear film off before sublimating. They shipped fast and was well packed.

What’s with the edges?
These earrings sublimate beautifully. Cosmos ink in my Epson ecotank printer on ASub paper. Cricut EZ press at 385F for 55sec works for me. The colors come out vibrant and clear. If you press too hot they sort of bubble. The beachy ones I did bubbled a little but they don’t look bad. These do have plastic coatings you have to peel off but it isnt hard. Some of them are kinda scuffed near the hole but it isn’t noticeable once they’re done. What I don’t love— these babies are thick. I wish they were about half the width. They aren’t heavy, I just don’t love the look. Also, no idea what the edges are but they leave black marks on my skin (ignore the vast need for lotion…). Don’t love that. Feels gross. If I could find thinner ones without the black marks I’d buy them.

Was disappointed in the quality.
When you try to remove the thin layer of plastic the white layer starts flaking off. Three out of four did this. Bad product.

Gross!
This stuff is disgusting you have to clean them before you can even use them I have to wear gloves loves. I'm not sending them back for a refund because they work fine but they come to you greasy and oily even after removing the protective cover film. I wouldn't purchase from here

Be prepared to spend a couple hours removing film and cleaning these up
I waited for months to finally make my first pairs of these earrings due to how much soot they had on them and how difficult it was to remove the film. They literally make your hands dirty just handling them. I spent at least two hours tonight, just removing the film (it is on BOTH sides per the description) and cleaning them up - and I work pretty quickly. I did find that gently heating the blanks on some parchment under my heat press (not pressing down enough to actually touch them) made the film easier to remove, but they took more effort than any other blanks I've ever used. After removing the film from both sides, I wiped them down with alcohol -- every single edge and both sides -- and some had to be cleaned a second time before the soot was no longer coming off on the cloth. It wouldn't have been nearly so bad if I could have just put all of them in a tub of soapy water, but MDF is not really supposed to get wet, so it was a bit of a painstaking process. The price on these is great, and it is a complete package of everything you'll need to create & display really cute earrings, but I would rather pay a couple dollars more and have them arrive clean. For some reason, the two pairs I made developed a cloudy finish after sublimating them. I heated at the usual time & temp that I do for almost everything (398 for 60 seconds) on the first side, but them reduced the heat to 385 and only 45 seconds for the second side after they cooled down, and it happened to both pairs. I know in the instructions it says to do a slightly lower temp for 45 seconds, but I've never had this happen with any other substrate so am not sure what was the cause of that. I'll do another pair at the temp this listing specifies to see if I am able to avoid that happening. UPDATE: The cloudy finish did not return after wiping down with a microfiber cloth wet with alcohol again after cooling. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear, and look really good after all that work
