Works well for price
A nice little mirror that I combined with a cub holder phone mount to use as a rearview mirror on our tritoon. Only caveat is this needs to be mounted (however you decide to mount it) up high as the arms are not very long. For us, it needs to be up on top of our helm for usage on the boat. I have not tried it with the suction cup mount it comes with because I was unsure if it would hold under speed in windy conditions.

Updated model, updating my review
UPDATED REVIEW:After giving this item a 1-star review, the company contacted me and sent an updated model.I am not using this in the car -- I have it in my office to be able to notice if someone walks up behind my cube so that I won't be startled. The first one I received had a glue on the suction cup. I stuck it on the glass at the top of my cube wall, then didn't like the placement and moved it. After this, it would not stay up.The newer model has less sticky-stuff on the suction cup. I don't know why any sticky-stuff is necessary at all, if the suction cup itself is made well. In any case, I put this one where I want it and it has been up for 5 days now without falling off. However, I have not tried to move it, so I don't know what would happen if I were to do that.So it does the job now. If I decide to move it, I'll update the review again based on whether it stayed stuck or not.The mirror itself doesn't have any flaws. It's a nice convex mirror that is clear and has no distortion.

Probably the best mirror available for office cubicle use!
Great solution for "watching your back" while sitting at your desk!First, this mirror has very excellent clarity. It is made of a high-quality glass. The convex shape is perfect for giving a wide angle of view without distorting the image, and I really love the borderless design. The size is perfect--a bit larger than the "purpose-built" monitor mirrors, but not so large as to be a distracting center of attention. It's roughly the size of a car rear-view mirror, except a bit taller and less wide. The mount is worth mentioning. It's attached via a strong suction cup that is also actually coated with a layer a moderately strong adhesive. In my experience, it leaves no residue behind, and can be re-stuck multiple times without losing any holding-power. It's a pretty decent improvement over a traditional suction cup mount, and effectively solves the complaint many reviewers had about another very similar mirror. However, if you really wanted to, I imagine you could remove the adhesive with a household solvent.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this mirror for whatever rear-view monitoring use you may have. I imagine it would work well for its intended use, as well. But if you are in search for a mirror for your monitor (or desk/cubicle wall/whatever), look no further. This is probably one of your best options.

Mirror vibrates a lot while driving, not so great
1.Mirror vibrates a lot while driving, not so great there (though clear when at a stop). So it adhere ok to the window, but the design of it with the mirror on a elongated shaft makes the slightest movement of the vehicle really move it, so your visibility of your wee one in the back is poor while in motion due to such vibration of the mirror.2. The size of the mirror takes up much visibility that is not necessary if just for one child in the back seat. The extra width is good if you have two kids in the back, but not useful if you only have one little one your trying to keep an eye on (Thus if only one, your taking up valuable visibility for safety while driving)3. Product broke after less 9 months of use!!!

It's my 2nd one and buying a 3rd, but be aware of a few things.
I love this mirror for viewing my kids in the backseat. I can see the entire seat and even see myself. The kids can see me clearly too so they make faces at me when we're stopped. I bought one for the truck and now I'm buying another for the van which has a built-in mirror but it's tiny and convex but I can barely make out their actual faces and they can't see me. So I'm getting another to use in the van in place of the mini one that's built-in.Now on to things to be aware of...-This mirror is a large! If you don't have a large windshield then it might block some of your view. Make sure you can place it HIGH if you're using it like I am.- The stickiness of the suction is solid, BUT as can be expected of any glue like material, once the heat really kicks in it can turn from a sticky rubber to all out goo. This is not a defect of this suction mount, the same has been happening since mfrs changes from basic actual suction mounts to washable surfaces with naturally sticky properties. It will happen with any mount, especially one with an unsupported gooseneck adapter.- About that gooseneck...if it's not supported it will have some shake to it. If you're sensitive to motion it might bother you. I'm not.And here are the reasons for my 3 rating instead of a 4 or 5...- The actual mirror itself is held on by a sticky material that is not strong enough and it will slowly slip down on the holder. Mine never fell off, not THAT bad. But you can definitely tell there is zero quality control applied to this product.- When my 1st mount finally died I was happy to purchase a second. But the second one came with a completely FLAT mirror. Not convex at all. While the curve on the original had a very slight effect, you could definitely tell the difference. This left me a bit upset as I couldn't see the entire seat as clearly and easily as I had before.Note: Please be aware that these products are CHEAP and natural physics must play a part. There will be gravity, there will be heat, there will be shaking. Flexible metals, temporary glue and suction cups can only do much. Please do not expect some miracle product. And if yours fails, try to return it before leaving a bad review, or assess how much time you got the make use of a $20 product before it failed. As I write this, I am disappointed with my 2nd purchase, yet I'm in the process of ordering a 3rd. It's the better option available in the market IMO.Another Note: I rigged my setup a bit and attached the unit to my trucks official rearview mirror with solid connections instead of the flexible arm. The flexible arm was surprisingly a better option as far as eliminating shaking; but when it finally fell off for good it left a nasty goo on my windshield that is not easy to remove. Plus I kept having to remount it several times through the summer. At least now neither of those will happen.
