Good Pump - Runs "well" - nyuck nyuck
The media could not be loaded. Good pump, runs great, runs relatively quiet. In my video review it sounds really loud, but that's because my camera's microphone is right in front of it. It's not that loud. Once the cabinet doors are closed, it's just low-level back round noise in the house when it kicks on.Piece of advice; there's two, quarter inch plugs on the front of pump... take them out, remove and reapply the Teflon tape and re-tighten. They leaked on me during my initial start up.My old pump was a very expensive convertible Simer jet pump that the previous owner had bought and installed, and I wouldn't have replaced it except I accidentally let it freeze and the housing cracked (which is why I moved this installation inside under my cabinets). The Simer pump was high quality and definitely worth what the previous owner paid for it. The point I'm coming to here is... this pump, so far, out performs the Simer and this one is less than half the cost. It's quieter, gives more pressure, and fills the bladder tank a lot faster than the Simer did. They're both 1/2 HP 115V pumps. I'm very impressed. The true test will come over time. If in the future I run into any issues, I'll update.*Two Thumbs Up*P.S. for the do-it-yourselfersI've never done any kind of plumping work or messed with any kind of well water system before. I did a little book and internet research before starting and what you saw is the result. If I can do it, anyone can :)

perfect replacement
I purchased this pump to replace my 10 year old pump which was damaged during the winter months.I needed to purchase one fitting at the local hardware store for connection to the well pipe. The pump comes in two different voltages, 110v and 220v, I purchased the 110v model, since mine is a seasonal pump which is supposed to come inside during the winter months. This pump is working fine, the preset pressure of 50 psi is more than enough for my outdoor water needs: Lawn sprinkler, garden watering, adding water to the pool and car washing to name a few.Replacement was easy, remove two bolts, disconnect the old motor lead in wires. Put the new pump on the tank, attach the bolts, connect the lead in wires and a few easy plumbing connections, I was done in about an hour.

Nice little pump
So far so good. I installed this pump to boost the water pressure in my house coming from our submersible well pump and through 2 filters & a softener. Easy set up and once I got both pumps working together it seems to do a pretty good job. One thing that confused me during set up was the directions did not indicate which contacts on the pump should be hot and return. So, I just connected it and hoped for the best figuring if it pumped backwards I would just switch the connections. Doesn't seem to matter though. The pump runs relatively quiet. Can hardly hear it from the basement when it kicks on.

Well built pump, very satisfied.
Love the pump. Decided on this one over cast iron versions because I hate the rust that cast iron pumps puts in your water.Pump builds pressure quickly, runs quietly, no leaks whatsoever, and has made my deer camp experience so much better since I’m no longer having to pump water from my 55 gallon barrels into my storage tank on my 5th wheel.Running a 14 gallon pre-pressurized well tank and I’m pulling water from 275 gallon totes. Will update later on to ensure pump is running as it should.

Nice Pump
I had previously bought a flotec pump about 14 years ago. It survived for 12 years in the Philippines, enduring some of the worst abuse a pump could possibly endure and continued to work. Finally, the motor bearings failed and replacing the motor was not an option. I have had several pumps bought locally that could not survive a year, and all cost more than this flotec pump. Even with the cost of shipping this unit to the Philippines, it will be more cost effective and durable than any I have bought there.

Replacement irrigation pump
I ordered same size and model as existing irrigation pump. That way I do not have to change plumbing/electrical setup. Previous pump runs about 10 hours a day during hot, dry spring and summer months. I expect this pump will be as dependable and price is reasonable.

Fast delivery
Id give 5 but I haven't hooked it up yet. But I'm a replacing the very same model with it. Other one worked great until my water froze and it started leaking from inside the casing. I blame myself. So I'll give 4.5 stars just because I ordered it one day, and it was literally here the next. It was delivered before I had even been notified that it had shipped lol.

Fitting sizes not in the description
This pump was installed to pump water from a cistern to supply a small cabin. Can’t speak to the durability but works great as of now. Nowhere in the description was there any info regarding the sizes of the inlet and outlet. This pump is a 1/2 hp 115v, others may vary. It has 1-1/4” female pipe thread for the inlet. 1” female pipe thread for the outlet. Drain valve is 1/4” female pipe threads if you plan to install a valve as I did to drain for the winter months easily. Hope this helps.
