I bought this licorice extract as a mix in to a skin care essence that I was concocting ;) The smell is a strong licorice aroma which I personally like. I am mixing it with distilled water, aloe, green tea and niacinamide; it has been a successful experiment, not irritating to my sensitive skin. Cannot attest to the taste.

Great at keeping blood pressure up during detox if you have weak andrenals.

The product received is not what is being advertised. The label is different that what is advertised as well. The product package that it was in (which had been ripped open before it was placed in the shipping envelope) has a label on it that was for a different product than what was inside it. Someone had clearly opened the package, removed the original contents, and replaced it with a different product.

Purchased as alternative treatment for a puppy with environmental allergies affecting the skin and resulting in the dog licking paws constantly. Vet had told us he would require a monthly injection that costs $150 + consultation fee.1ml squirted in mouth daily for 2 weeks has completely solved the problem and took half a bottle. Enough left to do another 2 week treatment if/when signs re-appear.Our puppy does not mind the taste or try to avoid it.
