I use Falcam F38 for nearly everything, but I like Peak Design's Capture system for Belt Clips and on bag straps better than Falcam F38.This allows me the best of both worlds. I orient the plate so the Peak Design modes work front to back and so Falcam F38 works side to side. Then, for belt clips and bag clips, the camera slides down into the clip. For tripods and monopods, etc, it slides in side to side. Perfect.The quality is a bit frustrating. The metal is flawless. It never catches and is perfect sized. The rubber pads, however, seem to wear easily and the heat from the camera seems to cause the glue to soften. Eventually the rubber pads just fail. So if you are moving your plate often, such as if you are adding a grip from time to time, the rubber pads can be frustrating.

The media could not be loaded. I recently swapped all my quick release plates to a F 38 plates and this product is a no-brainer to have to make my camera system more compatible with each other. I’m able to swap from Gimbal to tripod to sliders very quickly. It is much needed on a day-to-day workflow.It’s very easy to use and very easy to remove the quick release plate from the gimbal display. Also has a adjustable slider, which makes it easier for bigger camera to fit into the gimbal.It’s made out of a machine aluminum and coated with black paint. It should last many years to come, but can easily get scratched so you must be very careful from that. overall, I would recommend it

this is way better than what comes with the gimbal. its also nice to buy into the plate system. i have the shoulder strap and backpack mount. is it cheaper than Peak design? I didnt compare but peak does have tbis for the gimbal so this fits my needs perfect.

Much smaller than I thought from the description. Won't work at all with the quick release system I use. I don't know what it will work with. See photo. It's way smaller than what would be needed.

Not only is this plate cheaper than extra mounting plates for the capture clip from peak design, but it also gives me the ability to use the F38 quick release plates. It works great in both, and feels sturdy, though maybe not as sturdy as the one that comes with the capture clip.

This thing is going to replace all of my tripod mounting hardware. Super secure and easy quick detach.
