Cooper & Hunter 50 Pint Dehumidifier for Large Room or Basements 6L Water Tank 4,500 Sq. Ft

Save you $100+ and get this unit and not the $500/1 year warranty FrigidaireFFAD6022W1 their exactly the same ,but you get plus is you get a pump with this dehumidifier and a longer warranty. I ended getting a 3 extended warranty so it'll overlap the factory 2 years with a total of 3 years of warranty. We have a large living room with 25 foot catheral ceiling and it brought the humidity down from 75 to a more comfortable 45-50. We have haven't used the pump function yet. Great dehumidification performance. We replaced our GE 50Pint that stopped working with this unit(the ones that usually last a season or two.)

Purchased in May of 2022. Just broke Sept 2023. They say I have a warranty but it only covers parts. No labor. They told me I had to contact a Hvac company at my expense to diagnose the problem. It would cost as much to look at and repair in labor then what I purchased it for. What a Joke stay away from this brand. First one broke and now the second one as well don't waste your money!!What a Joke!!

The pump failed in 6 months and the joke with that is the thing only pumps out a couple inches when it runs so the tank is mostly full of water all the time you would think that pump would last longer because it’s not running to long…not the case so I can’t recommend this thing at all because you still have to empty the tank or the water will get nasty and the pump is junk..update called customer service and they were no help at all said I needed to send a video of it not working omg do not buy from this company..

Lo compre para tratar un área muy complicada en casa, el sótano. Desde la construcción tuve problemas de humedad en las paredes, finalmente me decidí instalar placas anti humedad, sin embargo luego de un tiempo, las placas comenzaron a saturarse de humedad, entonces vi como opción adquirir un dehumidificador habiendo adquirido el modelo de cooper & hunter, el equipo hace su trabajo de manera impresionante en dos días de uso discontinuo logre evacuar al menos 8 litros de agua de sus depósitos, lo que sin duda ayuda a las placas a mantenerse libres de humedad. Recomiendo el equipo de sobre manera, yo vivo en Bolivia y solo tengo el inconveniente del voltaje del equipo (110v.) pero con un buen transformador problema solucionado.

I've only used the product for a couple of days. It works as expected, and is MUCH quieter than I anticipated. HOWEVER, I may be sending it back, as I cannot find any documentation of the (Amazon ad's) two-year warranty, and cannot get any response from the company's warranty department.The product seems great, but their marketing and owner's manual leave room for improvement. I'm concerned that their warranty process may be a problem. (The website discloses that the warranty is valid ONLY if the unit is "installed by a certified HVAC technician". Like I'm going to hire a tech to plug it in, lol.)

It works wonderfully! It takes all the moisture out of the air, it makes it feel so comfortable. But it increased my power bill by over $75, 2 months in a row. My bill is usually $40 in the summers, which is the minimum charge my company charges. The first month I had it my bill went to $133.

Fair price, good quality
