Very durable. Using it to sand pool plaster and cement. I used it to smooth out curves as well as flat. Even though it was used dry I have not had any damage to the working surface of the pad #60 grit. I see other pads for sale with 4 pads of different grits for the same price as 1 of this brand. Have not compared durability of the less expensive brands to this one.

It was priced fairly, and works great. While I originally purchased it as a suggestion from a pottery instructor I had, I have been able to not only use it on bisque ware (outside or with water as recommended for safety), but also on my wood deck for quick removal of lose paint or bad spots. I simply tap it against the brick and it’s a good as new again.

Works perfect on cleaning up Chipped edges of tile. A must have for a tile setter.
