I recently purchased the Duck Brand Window Insulation Kit to prepare my home for the winter, and it has proven to be an excellent investment. Super easy to install by myself and effective. I noticed an immediate difference and could no longer feel a cold draft. I could also still see out the window and barely tell it was there from a visual standpoint, so that was nice. I only used it on one window, so I have plenty left for next year. If you have old windows and are looking for an inexpensive way to save on energy bills, I highly recommend this product.

Definitely helps block out drafts! I found this easy to install solo, including over double sliding glass doors and complicated shaped areas, if you're not too picky about appearances of the edges. Needed double tape in a few areas, and had to retape a couple corners of a couple of the windows I covered over the course of a winter. A double layer of plastic is even warmer, and does not block views if carefully shrunk. THE TAPE ***WILL*** PEEL OFF YOUR LANDLORD-SPECIAL PAINT! Have not tried removing it with heat or solvent yet, but even with the utmost care in peeling off manually, the paint comes with it.

Holy cow this worked great throughout this winter! We need new windows, but as we save up for them I tried this. Wow!! A noticeable difference in the temperature in our living room. It’s definitely a two person job to install on large windows, only because you are balancing getting the plastic on straight and smooth. Great value for the money! They look great and the stickiness held up through the winter.

I have waited to revtthis product until I had seen its performance once the extreme cold had set in. That has happened.This product receives my highest recommendation. I have used a few different brands, most of them were disappointing. Thie installation was easy. The two sided tape has remained intact despite below zero temperatures. The plastic film is clear and cannot be noticed from a short distance. It has remained taut throughout which is not the case with any other brand except for 3M, which is more expensive.This brand has all the best features and performance at a very economical price. I plan to use this brand again.

I have a bedroom door to the outside that has a slated window. This helped me so so much during the winter from cold drafts. And there’s plenty of the product to use next winter too.

Our bedroom was very drafty and we were able to feel cold air during the winter when we slept. I was thinking that the only solution would have to be to replace the windows, but this was a lifesaver. Our room is draft-free this winter, and it took me only 20 minutes of setup. It would have been quicker, but I decided to place the film behind the window blinds, so we still can open and close the blinds. So, I had to remove the blinds so I can give it a nice, clean seal. I didn't care about opening the blinds of the other window, so I placed the film over the blinds, which took me a couple minutes.The film is clear and can be seen through easily, but it is not crystal-clear. But it definitely did the job, and I'm sure it paid itself off with the money we saved on our heating bill.

Setup wasn't bad. They provided some extra insulation during winter. Over time they got really loose on the windows though and when I went to take them down for summer, it removed paint from the window frame. Won't use again next year.
