We ordered from a local dealer, but when things fell through we took a chance on this product. It shipped very fast during peak COVID delays, & the product was exactly as we needed. Not a lot of these around so we’re happy everything worked out. Great experience, would re-purchase!

Note The description does not state that the insulator strip is attached to unit, spent days looking for the strip. Also the delivery of unit to Canada was confusing. The part was a perfect match and directions for replacement was clearly laid out.

I used this in my Dutchwest model #2462. The stove threw amazing heat after I put it in. But it didn't last very long. I put it in on Dec 26, 2019, burned until March 15, 2020. I just went to clean out the stove for this year and found nothing but a round ring and a pile of dust. It completely burned away. I was really expecting it to last a little longer than that. The last one I bought lasted 3 years before a small part of it burned out. I've put that one back until I can buy a new one, but this is disappointing that it just burned up in less than 4 months.
