Although its a tight fit, you can definitely fit 3 pistols w full assortment of mags.
Overall its a very well made pack. The material is thick, durable, & the stitching is ample. The main straps & top handle are very strong & fully loaded with ammo, etc., they have held up nicely. The main/pistol compartment zippers have a lock loop built in so that's handy, although not terribly secure in the grand scheme.. Its just a simple travel bag zipper lock & not at all like a proper gun safe. The hard shell that lines the pistol compartment is removable & is not sewn or glued in. Friction from pulling the pistol cases out has on occasion caused the hard shell to pull out slightly. I've found pulling the central case out first helps to avoid this condition & overall it hasn't been a problem. I think some internal snaps or velcro could have eliminated that issue entirely. There are plenty of pouches & internal compartments to keep your items separated & organized. I don't follow the stitched in icons at all & personally I don't think they add much value. I just put whatever fits in whatever pouch & call it good. The upshot is that you can keep things very organized with or without the icons. The 3 main pistol pouches, in addition to the magazine pockets, also have a divider sewn in, as well as a felted pocket with a velcro closure, which is nice. I read one review that said the owner puts 6 pistols in the main compartment since there are those dividers. I suspect that owner must have pulled out the hard shell liner, or keeps his mags separate from the pistol pouches. 3 pistols with mags in each pocket is a tight & secure fit.Fully loaded, with about 1000 rounds of ammo, & all my other gear, the back is about 50 lbs or a little more.. Time will tell if the construction & straps hold up to that kind of loading. I treat it gently & as such I think they will.Overall the pack is well made & well designed for its intended use. The price is pretty hefty compared to some other import/molle/tactical/mission packs out there, but the unique design, quality of materials & construction warrant that price difference in my opinion.

6 month review of GPS Range Bag - Buy It!
I have been using this bag for 6 months now so I am confident that I can review it as a very good purchase. I have another range bag that has a pull out foam holder for your firearms that works ok but my opinion is this range bag with 3 zippered firearm pouches is a far better solution. I have also found that because the holders each have a divider you can really carry 6 firearms to the range. I do this often so I can practice with many different actions and accessories. There is ample storage and the zippers have been reliable. I carry range ammo, 2 sets of ear protection, gloves, 2-4 pair of glasses, a few tools, batteries, a cleaning mat, and I'm sure something else that I can't think of. Even packed full it feels very secure and able to carry the weight without strain on the seams or material. The bag has a lot of convenient loops to hang accessories from that are also very secure. I also like that the bag zippers overlap so you can put a lock on the contents. Very good idea when carrying your range bag in public. I am constantly asked at the range where I got this bag by experienced shooters. I very highly recommend this bag and in fact have purchased this same bag for a friend. It's a super good buy at the price.

Worth every cent!
I bought the smaller version and this item is awesome! My other range bag was the NRA free duffel bag which was bigger but this has more useable space. The stitching is quality and overall the bag is well thought thru. It’s near perfect for the range but I don’t think I would use it for tactical use. For this reason I think the waist belt is unnecessary and kinda in the way. I folded and zip tied mine in the position I wanted so no big deal. However, it does create a lump in the small of your back but I don’t mind since this a range bag for me and I am not walking a distance with it. When I first bought the bag I didn’t know what the belt with the fast clip was for on the front. After using the bag, I realized it was so you could open all the zippers and just use the belt to hold the bag shut. It is for quick access so you don’t have to re zip everything. Very well thought through! Only other minor thing is that the Velcro strip (where the GPS emblem is) doesnt really fit a flag or a standard military name tape; wish it was a little longer for the name tape and a little wider for the flag and really wish it could accommodate both. But overall extremely minor critiques and would definitely replace this with another if it were to wear out.

Great range bag for two.
Great range bag for two shooters, holds two sets of ear and eye protection perfectly (pictured), larger back compartment holds my IFAK and tool kit nicely, plenty of small and medium pockets for batteries, tools and whatever else you may need at the range, it claims it will hold three firearms and it may, but it will be tight, two fit absolutely perfect, the side pouch labeled for tape/stapler holds 250-300 9mm or 200-250 .45 (maybe more depending on box sizes) with ease, it's comfortable to wear, atleast from the car to the range, I don't exactly hike with it, I haven't had it for that long so I can't speak to it's durability, but it's very well built, The only thing I would change would be to make the waist strap detachable, other than that I highly recommend.
