Treat what goes into your machine, like you do your body!
Hands down, THE BEST! I love love love this color, it’s not too white and not too beige. Please see pics of how close the colors may seem, but are very distinctly opposite!! Also, Even if you are using a large cone or a small cone, you will always get the same color. It’s not just the color, but after doing a lot of sewing you don’t want to be having to clean out what cheap threads leave behind and WILL damage and ruin your machine. Even if you are a novice in sewing there are just some brands you should associate yourself with quickly. I use an industrial Juki 2010Q (Q=Quilting) so this will got on most frame hoops. BE A THREAD SNOB! Imagine thread (and oil, if your machine requires it like mine) like what we put in our bodies! I can only speak from my own personal Quilting experience;1. Aurafil (I’ve never used the following but I’ve heard good things about Madeira and Gutterman too, depending on what your project your working on) however, I stick to what I know-the same rich Pantone colors that’s just as, if not more, important than the quality of fabric bc this runs threw your machine.2. Olfa, hand down the sharpest blades and, for me, the best cuts thru multiple layers of cotton without movement and listening to the slice of a new sharp blade is......butter!!!!!! Perfect cuts make perfect blocks!3. Oliso- Smart Iron, nice to not have to lift the iron anymore and I use a silicone mat with at least a 1/2” thick wool pad. (I haven’t noticed many differences as long as it is sturdy, you do not want your sewn pieces to dip causing distortions, a.k.a. Fabric stretching, in your blocks. Another reason to hand a good thread so you can get the right tension set on your machine.4. Schmetz needles keep sharp for longer than any needle I’ve ever used! Again, just from my personal experience. I change my needle ever 8 hours of sewing, I keep a dollar store timer by my machine, i have to take many breaks with 4 children and with so many sew alongs I could never keep up on needles but once you start hearing or seeing it punch bigger holes, change it! I just saw someone say they change their needle after every bobbin, I’m going to test this bc that would kinda be perfect!! ;)I invested a lot of money of a nice sewing machine, so I see it as a long term investment and just like oil and gas and car maintenance, a sewing machine is no different! I also want a thread that’s easy to put through my needles and I’ve never had 1 problem threading Aurafil thread!Hope this helps my sewing family!

Good quantity and quality
It's great to have such a quantity on one spool, but I have trouble threading needles because it's so fine it wants to curl.

Quality Brand Thread
Great thread for quilting. Haven’t opened this spool yet, but this brand is my go to. This seller has it for a good price.

The seam is barely noticeable
When machine piecing your quilt blocks, it is essential to have as little bulk in your seam allowance as possible. This 50 weight, 2 ply thread does exactly that. I don’t construct with anything else. It also serves as a lighter weight bobbin thread when making decorative stitches with a heavier weight top thread. It is not however my preferred thread for hand sewing long seams as it wants to twist and knot up.
