Worlds best thread
Aurifil thread if fine, silky and has a wonderful finish. It’s natural cotton fibre though it feels like silk. It doesn’t shed microscopic fibres that. clog your sewing machine and makes threading the needle easy. Not cheap but it lasts for ages. I only buy this thread now.

It’s so expensive, but it’s lovely.
I’ve had this for quite some time but was wary of using it as it’s so expensive. I am hand piecing a quilt for my bed with small hexagons and my usual thread was tangling up. Really annoying. I had a lightbulb moment, remembering my reel of aurifil, so started to use it and what a game changer. No tangles at all. I’m going to buy a grey reel next and keep these just for my English paper piecing. It’s wonderful but Ive given it 4stars due the cost.
