Use this on the optical out of a TV with no Bluetooth and pairs to pillow speaker with no problem. All button functions and light colors work as documented.

I would like to share my usage experience.---When BTI-029 works as the bluetooth transmitter: In power off status, Please slide switch to"TX" Mode. This is a great Bluetooth device to listen to the TV using your headphones. Great price point for what it is. It does support 2 different headphone devices at the same time, so you and a friend can both listen to the same thing on your own headphones. There is a slight delay in the audio but that is to be expected with Bluetooth devices. I use this mainly to listen to TV/Movies after my kids go to bed so i can hear everything clearly with out waking anyone up. The audio quality is very good too, no bluetooth glitching sounds.

With the usb cable plugged into an external power supply, I would have thought it would stay on constant. If the optical source (tv) is off, it shuts down. The sound quality to my Sony speaker is great.

Great price point. All needed cables included. Easy setup & pairing. Need a 5V USB charger source to use this device.

When I paired it with Bluetooth headphones, I found that the sound was delayed and the quality of the sound was very poor. I am returning it.

I use this to watch TV using wireless earbuds while my husband is asleep. My TV is older and does not support Bluetooth. I've purchased 2 different models over the years and when my most recent transmitter quit working I purchased this. The old one had a big button you had to press to connect and it made a loud clicking noise when pressed so it would sometimes wake hubby up. In addition, the old one connected at the loudest possible volume on the earbuds. They are cheap so I thought it was just the earbuds but this one connects without issue and at the last volume I had the earbuds. It connects fast and doesn't blow my eardrums out. Very happy with this so far. Much better than the rest.
