Trim is a little dark but overall no it a great headlight

They are sold as a pair. Easy to install.

Would wires and bulbs from an 98 fit this?

Not sure for a 98. They worked perfectly on my 2000. Old bulbs would have worked but I installed all new bulbs while assembly was out.
