Great value and great performance.
TL:DR Design is great. Audio quality is quite good. It feels solid. Few minor issues that I can live with.I'm not an audiophile so I won't go into the ins and outs about it but I would say they are better than the Beats headphones you'll see people rockin in the subway. If you're looking to block EVERYTHING in your surroundings, it's going to depend on your sensitivity and the size of your ears. For example, I showed my wife these and she tried them on. I could not hear her or the running water at the sink. When she tried them on, she had a hard time getting a good seal with the ear cups on her ears and as such could still hear he water running. They do look good and are stylish. the left ear cup has a soft touch finish that is a bit velvety.Of the gripes I have with it, the interface on your right side is a bit finicky. You're supposed to be able to cover the interface with your palm and it is supposed to let you hear your surroundings by piping in what the mic pics up and amplifying it. That often is recognized as a two finger tap and pauses the music. You have to be very deliberate in the way you do the gesture to get it to work. Also the two finger tap to stop/start audio isn't always picked up so I end up having to do it over. These are things that I can live with but hope would be fixed with a firmware update (I doubt it will be as it's been out for a while now and you would think it's as dialed in as it can be).Continuing with the interface, they are supposed to have an on ear sensor that will pause the music when you take them off and play when you put them back on. I have had issues with that and question if either the sensor is defective or if it's just buggy (there is a setting in the app for it which you can turn on or off).As many of it's current competitors, it's using Micro USB to charge. I would hope if Libratone makes a V2, they will implement USB-C.The last thing I will mention is that the white/grey ones are very stylish but straight out of the box, there seems to have been some marks on the finish on the left ear cup. The velvety finish seems to be prone to light markings. You will only notice it if you look closely and it seems it might have been from wear from moving around. There is foam padding to preventing the headphones from moving side to side but nothing to prevent it from moving up and down during shipping (and you know packages are rarely handled with care).Overall, I'm currently happy with the headphones and at the price I purchased them at (sub $150).I will add that all my comments are post firmware update and it is at the latest version available through the app.

Sounds great and looks great
Sounds great and looks great. Out of the box, I am pleased with the product. It gets a bit uncomfortable after a prolonged use but I would say that active noise cancelling is really nice so I don't mind slight discomfort . App that works with the headphones is easy to use. If they make it more comfortable for the second generation of the product I think it would make a five star product.

The soft ear pads and textured headband is a very nice touch. But the real magic is all the ...
I never write reviews, but I have been absolutely blown away by the Libratone Q ADAPT Wireless On-Ear Headphones. First, the packaging, as soon as you receive the headphones, you know you're in for a treat. The soft ear pads and textured headband is a very nice touch. But the real magic is all the details that I seem to keep on discovering.I was skeptical at first with an on-ear headphone and how good it would be at noise cancelation. I've had over-ear headphones for years, and these Libratone on-ear headphones perform better than the Beats over-ear headphones I had been using. You can adjust the level of noise cancelation, so when you're indoors, you can lower the noise cancelation and when you're outdoors, increase it.There are only two buttons on the headphones, power button, and an action button. The power button turns the headphones on/off, and the action button adjusts the noise cancelation levels and pairs to bluetooth devices, etc. The rest of the UI is all touch-based, and it's great! Adjusting the volume is as easy as touching the right ear piece and moving your finger as if it were adjusting the volume with a nob. Two taps to the ear piece and it pauses / plays what you're listening to. Cover both ear pieces and the headphones temporarily turn off so you can hear conversations in the real world. This seemed a bit silly to me, if I want to talk to someone when I have headphones on, I'll simply remove them and let them rest on my neck while I talk. And here's where the product really got me, when I rested the headphones on my neck, it knew what I was doing and it automatically paused my music. And when I put my headphone back on, it started to play right where I left off. This is my first Libratone product, but after having these for just a couple of days, I'm definitely a fan of the brand and would absolutely look at other Libratone products in the future.
