An actual photo won't be any different from the photos furnished by the Amazon seller. The shelf liners look exactly like the photo. They are very thick, good quality, barely bendable, have a lightly textured side which I put on the downward side and a opague smooth side that I placed upward. They could be placed either direction according to personal preference. They slid right into place on my wire shelves and precisely fit my 18W" X 36"L coated wire shelves as shown in the photos like custom made. The arrived double boxed, so no chance of damage and securely wrapped in fours each thick plastic wrapping to keep them secure and safe from scratches. Also I put the "BRAND NAME" embedded into the back of each separate shelf piece with the opague side up so you can read the brand name that is embedded into the shelf liner. It is barely perceptible and does not show from the front of the cover. Good value and excellent quality for the cost!

I bought these liners for my new larger plant rack. I bought these because I ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKED OVER A LARGE PLANT AND SOIL WENT ALL OVER MY PLANTS ON THE SECOND AND THIRD SHELF, AND THE DIRT WENT ALL OVER MY GROW LIGHTS! What a mess!These liners FIT WELL, and PROTECT FROM SPILLED DIRT OR WATER ON the other shelves, grow lights, BUT MOSTLY ON TOP OF YOUR PLANTS in the event that a plant is knocked over, or if you spill water. WATER CAN NOT SIT ON AFRICAN VIOLETS BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE LEAF DAMAGE. The dirt will prevent them from absorbing light.There was no bad smell to them, or any heavy plastic smell. These truly function well for my needs, and they were priced very fairly. They also increased my storage capacity because I don’t need to worry about the rack below. I do caution you that the liners are a bit slippery, but not badI do have a sticky tack to give a little grip to items on display to give them a little bit of grip for protection. I have used that for some plants that needed to be more towards the edge of the shelf.Overall, I’m VERY PLEASED with the product because it gives me the protection that I need in the event of soil or water spillage. ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SHELF LINERS!!!

Fit's perfectly. Easy to clean. I got the darker ones. Still see thru but it gives a nice finished look.

The liners work great for the shelves to keep items from falling through open metal shelving. Thickness was appropriate and they fit nicely, seem easy to clean.

Durable, easy to use and a variety of sizes to choose from. I have ordered several of them for my basement wire shelves and they make them so functional, creating a smooth flat surface vs uneven ridges of the wire shelving. For me these are a must have!

I got these to use for my plant shelf. They came totally flat and fit easily into the space. I have already spilled water on one and it was easily wiped up. They don't fit perfectly, but provide a smooth surface and should keep plant bits from falling in the floor.
