I think 110 but I returned it Not all parts came in with it and I found another way.

Can you make this a digital file directly using this equipment?

I used it to try to make digital copies of VHS tapes. For this, you need to connect the included VHS player to your computer. I connected via the provided three-wire VHS to USB converter because the included HDMI converter didn't work. In my first attempt, I used the version of the necessary program provided on a DVD disk. The results were awful. When I downloaded a newer version of the program, the results were better but still pretty bad. The program also makes .mkv digital files that need to be converted to a more universal format such as .mp4 with a program that is not included. My recommendation is that you take your VHS tapes or camcorder tapes to a camera store, and for a fee, they will convert them to modern digital files. Depending on how many you want to convert, it might be cheaper than purchasing this product.

Will this unit transfer vhs on to a dvd?

Why would you want to? DVD's are on the way out. For less than $100 you can buy a Raspberry Pi, install OpenElec or LibreElec which uses KODI as an interface and play all your Video, Audio, or Photo media files from it. You can also by a MiniPC that runs Windows 10 for around $100. Both devices are the size of a deck of cards. There are also many other devices you could use including Android based devices. Just transfer from VHS to MP4 or MKV. Kodi plays both. All my DVD players are in the basement collecting dust.

Clear and vivid picture

This was packaged well for shipping. The machine and remote were sealed in plastic. Paperwork was helpful. Video quality is clear and vivid, audio as well. Great price for all the items included. UPDATE: I almost returned this thinking the RCA Out stopped working. I needed to UPDATE MY DRIVERS. Still works great!

Ruined My Tapes!!!

The setup was fine , and the first tape I tried played well, but when I tried to FF or rewind, the player would malfunction and not only fail the command but would not play the tape. When I attempted to eject the tape, the film would get stuck and require manual removal with resultant damage to the film itself. At first I thought that the problem was with the particular tape that I had used (home movie of the kids) so I changed to a professionally recorded tape but it did the same thing.Because I had been so excited to see old home tapes, I decided to try to play them and avoid the FF or rewind functions , but the player continued to malfunction and the eat the tapes!!!SO SAD!!

You’ll love it

It’s worth the money. I bought so many VCR before from other stores and I couldn’t watch my old video cassettes. I was amazed from the picture quality and sound. I recommend you to buy.

Terrible product

The machine they provided did not work. They tried to help but it was defective (even though they supposedly refurbished it before selling it). I am now unable to get a refund because Amazon has refused to issue one, details of which I have been denied by Amazon in sharing that info.If I were you, I would think twice before buying a machine from this seller.

Deceitful title.

This product has a deceitful title. I was under the impression that I could digitize my old VHS videos. I paid more this product because I thought it was all I needed but now I have to order another device. This is not worth over $200. It does work but nobody is buying this product to watch movies. It was well packaged and in good shape but you can find a cheaper VHS.
