Q: I have natural 4c hair. Do I need to use both the blow dry cream and the blow dry cream and primer mist before blow drying?

Hi there Amazon Custoner! Thank you for your interest in Dark and Lovely Heat Shield Hair Primer and Dark and Lovely Silky Slip Blow Dry Cream. You can alternate between these products. Heat Shield mist is to be applied on clean, damp or lightly dried hair as a prep to your styling routine. Apply to clean, damp or lightly dried hair. Lightly spray mist about 5 inches from hair and work into hair from root to tips in one direction to avoid tangling. Apply heat until hair is fully dry. After Blowout shampoo and conditioner, apply Blow-Dry Cream to clean damp hair. Apply to hair from roots to ends and smooth onto hair in one direction to avoid new tangles. Heat style as usual.

Great product!

This was recently recommended to me for my fine, damaged hair. After just a few uses I notice my hair is less frizzy & more manageable. It's also an affordable item. I recommend this product.

THIS PRODUCT IS NOT UNSCENTED!

Just a word of warning. The description says this product is unscented but it has a strong vanilla scent. I'm not able to use it because of allergies so if you have allergies to fragrances, this product isn't for you. As far as working to protect your hair from heat damage, although I only used it once it seemed to perform that task well.
