Works fine, but it's still hard work
It does what you would expect, but it's still hard work and you have to be careful not to chip the edge of the tile. Although it works as advertised, next time I'll pay someone to do it for me.

Missing parts
Missing the 3 bit tools for using the product. I have to return it because there is no way for me to use it!

Super tool
When your old tile is good, but grout worn this works great for taking down halfway then regrouting with fresh color.

Should have returned
Very small tool tips and rather weak power. Should have returned but I had tried to use it without success. Lesson learned

Go with an Oscillating Tool Instead
If you're doing anything more than a very small project or touching up a kitchen backsplash with tiny grout lines, I would highly recommend spending a little bit more on an oscillating tool instead. You can find a cheap one for $50-$60 (excluding the blade). I must've spent an entire day with this Hyde tool to remove grout from my shower walls and got through maybe an eighth of it. My husband picked up a grout blade, stuck it on his oscillating tool, and gave me that to try instead. Using that, half of the shower done within 4 hours. Not to mention, it was 100x more comfortable and easy to use.

Practice makes perfect
It took me an hour of use to get the hang of how to hold and how fast/slow to move the tool to chisel out old kitchen tile grout, but once I got the hang of it, it was a very effective tool. I only needed it for a one time job, regrouting my mom‘s kitchen tiles. Probably won’t ever use it again because I don’t plan on re-grouting anybody’s tile for a while. But for the price, it was worth it!
