Is this desk complicated to install?

It's not very complicated, there are two snap-in connection parts on the top and bottom, and it only takes a little effort to snap it in, as demonstrated in the video.

Can it be used for a drawing easel?

I wouldn't think so, the pressure from drawing would be too much on the desk. It is really just for books, catalogs, and reading material and for lightweight laptop computers. You can try but I would advise against it.

How big laptop will it hold?

It will hold a full size lap top

Can I use this lap desk on the bed? Is it stable?

I think it's ok,because its base is very wide and thick.I use it on the floor.
