A very simple first reader. My 2 year granddaughter loves the bright animal illustrations and delights in picking out the simple words.

I like all of Eric Carle's books. The books are easy for children to follow due to the graphics and there is always something relevant to learn. Good books for extensions of various kinds to build on goals and objectives also.

Very cute for toddlers.

At 3yrs old my daughter started "reading" this book. She loves it and just beams with pride and confidence as she reads the book. The simple patterns and repetitions helped her catch on to the story line quickly and even a year later still enjoys reading it me! The joy of reading has begun!
