Exactly what we needed
Filter was reasonably priced and arrived on time. No problems.

Filter failed
Filter had 4 pre filters filtering contaminents before reaching it, and it failed and cannot get a response from Pentair. Amazon followed up and asked if they resolved the issue and informed them that they have not. Surely a company selling a product on amazon is aware they will have warranty issues, and could provide better customer service, especially selling at 90 percent retail.

Retrofit - Don’t Forget to Install the Drain Flow Restrictor!
I bought this as a retrofit for my Homemaster Hydroperfection RO system, which had a bad membrane after some plumbing work. The installation was easy: just connect everything to the appropriate hose on the Homemaster and start it up.But wait! After starting up, the water from the inlet continued flowing through the system to the waste drain on the permeate pump. It ran like this for an hour and nothing was working.After going back to the manual, I saw the little drain restrictor piece, which was unfamiliar to me, because HomeMaster doesn’t use it. You stick it into the drain hose before you connect it to the drain out on the membrane.Once I did that, it worked beautifully.

Missing Drain Line Flow Restrictor!
The membrane capsule is fine, but Amazon listed the model number as 4004424 which should include both the flow restrictor and the check valve. I received model 4002574, which does not include flow restrictor. I want my flow restrictor.
