Great Dehumidifier
Great dehumidifier* Looks modern and has a easy to use interface.* Easy to move with wheels and built in handles, for when you need to lift it.* dehumidifier and drying modes work really well to remove the unwanted moisture from the air. In our first week, without having it on 24/7, we have already removed over 60 pints of water.* The timer allows you to leave it on for however many hours you wish. or you can control it through the App. I am struggling to get it to connect to my Alexa, but that is a minor complaint.* the PM sensor seems to work well, and lights up the device red for bad, Yellow for normal and green for Good air quality, this light can be turned off if you want. All in all i think this is a great product, does what it says on the tin, is large enough to work in a normal sized house, with a little moving around or just leaving it in one place and small enough that it could be placed in a car, should you have a condensation problem (tried and tested and worked a treat). It wasn't the cheapest or the most expense one on the market, but from my point of View, it was worth every penny.

Expensive product - does it do the job?
Update of my original review 26/12/2023. I've upgraded to 5 stars. It's performing really well for clothes drying and general room drying duties. The only bit of maintenance was a new filter. The Android app has been updated and now works really well. Would I buy another one? I think the answer is yes. This is an expensive dehumidifer and I haven't had it that long but I thought I would give some initial feedback. The goodSeems to work well drying clothes and dehumidifyngWater extraction is good.Easy to use.Good set of options. On castors so easy to move.Doesn't use very much electricity. The bad (or indifferent)Is it worth the extra over a £200 dehumidifer? Don't know.Network setup is a faff. Not really very quiet.Timer doesn't seem to work.Initial humidity measurement not accurate.Support. Probably about the same as other manufacturers or maybe worse. It seems like a solid piece of kit and does what it is supposed to do. Drying clothes takes 2-3 hours in a cold room but it doesn't use much in the way of electricity. Dehumidifying also works well but I haven't used it in enough to judge the air purification function.Biggest faff by far is the network connectivity which is a bit of a gimmick. BUT you can get it to your connect to your wifi eventually. Ensure you are using WPA2-PSK exclusively not with WPA3 mixed in. And you need an IOS device. You should then be able to connect to it and then register it on the cloud. Once registered you can connect to it from Android. But setting it up with Android failed every time. That is likely down to Android version.Support wise. I emailed support twice and got no reply. But I left a message on voicemail and they rang back and then said they would ring back with an answer about the network issues. Still waiting for that call.Still haven't got to grips with the timer. It was still going after I thought the timer had been set for an hour. And it is quite noisy. I cannot see how anyone could sleep in a bedroom when it's operating. But i doesn't use much in the way of electricity even at the current prices. Maybe 15p/hr in clothes drying mode. It's easy to move around on castors as it is quite heavy. And it sucks quite a bit of water out of the environment so for a basic functioning dehumidifer it's not bad at all. But is it worth the price premium. If all you want is a basic humidifier without the bells and whistles then I am sure there are lots of alternatives. If you do want the bells and whistles and can afford it then it can be recommended. This is a review after having it for about two weeks so will update this review in the spring.

Fantastic dehumidifier poor customer service
For some reason this year the house was humid in winter. Bought some hydrometers to measure the relative humidity in the house and was shocked to see between 60-70% RH in some rooms. Decided to look for a suitable dehumidifier and came across this model. Read all the reviews which were positive so decided to buy it considering the cost which is high. Glad I bought it thou as it's a great dehumidifier. Does exactly what it says. Good points is it looks good, pulls out the moisture fast, easy to empty the tank, etc.. bad points are initial cost, it can be noisy but you can lower the fan speed and the wifi setup is poor. I eventually got it working on my iphone and it's great to control it remotely. All in all I would recommend this dehumidifier. One thing to mention is Lexent customer support is poor. Wanted to register the product but couldn’t see how to on their website so dropped them an email and heard nothing not even a reply. All in all thou liked the unit so much I bought a second one.

A great bit of kit
Our cavity wall insulation effectively sealed the house some years ago. Suddenly this year, black and green mould appeared everywhere, so it seemed the house had reached some sort of saturation point. We chose this model as it has a HEPA filter and a UV steriliser too. Left running 24 hours for the first week or so it pulled an unbelievable amount of water out of the house, at least 5 litres a day. Now we only run it a few hours a day, we have zero condensation on windows and no more mould! It's a little louder than I'd like, too loud to sleep near it, but it it shifting a lot of air. It's very heavy to move up and down stairs for bedroom/bathroom duties and utility room clothes drying (fantastic). It has timers and sleep functions we've never used, but maybe we will. Only time will tell how long it will last, but it seems to be very well built. A big thing was made of it being British, the box said made in China.Anyway, yes, we love it and would recommend it.
