This DeWalt power inverter is a fantastic addition to my car setup! It’s compact, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. There’s only three good things about this. 1) build quality. It’s very sturdy with thick gauge wires, robust cigarette lighter plug, and the unit itself is constructed very well. 2) sound. It’s very silent, inverter is very quiet and you can’t hear it when plugged in. 3) usb charging. Of the different phone chargers I’ve had this on charges pretty fast which is nice. But the reason it gets one star is because it’s utterly terrible at its main purpose - the 110-120V AC plug. It’s basically useless. When plugged into a running vehicle what ever device you plug into the outlet has to have a low amp draw to work. Anything else plugged in will only work if the vehicle is turned off - defeating the whole purpose of mobile charging. For content I’m a mobile service technician and I’m frequently out of the road sometimes hours away. Even if I charge all my DeWalt batteries before I leave for a job sometimes they need charged during the day. Which if the building I’m working at has power it’s no problem to charge all my tool batteries. If the customer is ok with my stuff sitting around charging, if I don’t forget to grab them before I leave, and if I’m not worried about other tradesmen accidentally grabbing my batteries. That being said if I can’t use a DeWalt inverter to charge my DeWalt batteries while driving to a job and I have to wait to charge them when I get on site and it’s a slow charge at that and risk draining your vehicles battery, I’m better off just plugging my batteries into the building to charge. This completely defeats the purpose of this product. And at this price point to use as a phone charger is also pointless as there are other mobile phone chargers that perform just as well for less money. Do not recommend.

Works great

The only issue I have with this product is that there is no USB-C port. It arrived with (2) USB-A ports instead of what is shown in the picture.

You know you write a review for a simple thing like this and I’m not sure what someone is expecting. I expect things to work. Well it works, plug it in and there you go. Price seems fair.

I used this to allow me to use my trolling motor battery as a battery bank to charge and use my cpap overnight while camping. Had it plugged it all night and running my cpap. The inverter did not get hot and the noise it produced was very minimal.

I use it to charge my laptop in the car and a walk is charges what it is supposed to charge and I highly recommend it
