Perfect for unschooling
I read previous reviews about disliking the disorder of this book but I happen to find it refreshing as I'm not looking for traditional schooling. I want to have a more relaxed approach and not have any set regiment. This book bounces around and rids of us of repetition. I will definitely be order more of these book for the other kids in their grade levels.

Very nice but very basic
Love that it has all subjects. The way it teaches it is also nice with the crossword puzzles and find the word puzzles. Bad thing is that it is super super basic. Its one page per day with some days changing subject. I still like but because i do want to keep things basic but maybe not this basic so will add to this daily task workbook.

Same worksheets the schools use
Great when I homeschooled. They’re the same worksheets the schools used. I remember some of them from when my older kids had homework. Good stuff though.

Do Not Recommend
Very boring for my 12 year old (it’s essentially old-fashioned rote worksheets one after another). I am ordering a different book after two days. I don’t even think it makes sense for homeschooling since there is only one worksheet a day.

OK for what it is
I bought this as a supplement for homeschool. As a source of general knowledge and maintaining a sense of where they should be academically at this age, it's fine. The exercises are simple, but help to round out some of the areas we may have been lacking, and my kids are generally enjoying these workbooks. However, there are a lot of typos, poorly-written sentences, and occasionally flat-out laughably wrong information. Example: One of the lessons today claimed that Leif Ericson and the Vikings traveled to North America THOUSANDS of years before Columbus. For me, this is useful as it gives an opportunity to go over the correct way to do things, discuss the fallibility of textbooks, correct errors, and in general give them the tools to critically examine information. However, as product quality goes, they could really use a better editor.
