A Jaw-Dropping, Heart-Pumping, Action-Packed Must-Watch!
As someone who has watched countless superhero TV shows and movies, I can say with certainty that "The Boys" is a refreshing and thrilling addition to the genre. The "Seasons 1 & 2 Collection" delivers everything you could want from a show that isn't afraid to break the mold.First off, the writing is phenomenal. The characters are complex, flawed, and surprisingly relatable despite their superhuman abilities. The show doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of a world where superheroes exist, and the ethical dilemmas they face are handled with nuance and intelligence. It's a show that makes you question who the real heroes are.But what really sets "The Boys" apart is the action. From start to finish, this show is an adrenaline-fueled rollercoaster ride. The fight scenes are incredibly well-choreographed, and the use of superpowers is both creative and awe-inspiring. The show doesn't hold back on the gore either, making for some truly unforgettable moments.Of course, none of this would be possible without the outstanding cast. Karl Urban steals the show as Billy Butcher, a gritty and determined antihero. Antony Starr is also a standout as Homelander, a Superman-esque figure with a dark side that's downright terrifying.Overall, "The Boys - Seasons 1 & 2 Collection" is an absolute must-watch for fans of the superhero genre, or anyone looking for a thrilling, action-packed series with depth and intelligence. I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic first season! Not a kid's show!
***Possible Spoilers***I have Prime, but I'm still glad to have purchased this series on Bluray. Just wish it would have had some 'making of' content instead of just bloopers and extended scenes. Maybe this will appear in subsequent seasons?NOT a show for kids. Graphic content, but not gratuitously so. Rough on religion.Well cast (the guy that plays Homelander is convincingly evil, like Kurt Russell's psychopathic little brother evil).I was kind-of expecting "Mystery Men" or "Kick Ass" (both of which I like), but this is something totally different. There are multiple interesting subplots here, above and beyond the 'superheros as a facade' hook.Hopefully the subsequent seasons will be as compelling as the first! :)

Great couple of seasons.
I have prime yet wanted these on blu-ray as well I love comics universes, Marvel, DC, Image Ect... The Boys really flips the traditional comic stories upside down and is a refreshing take on the industry. Garth Ennis does such a great job writing. Love his Hellblazer run too.

Glad but a bit disappointed.
I got this on September 26. When it arrived the both of the first disc of season one and two were loose and one then were out. Some of the discs have slight scratches. I didn't have a blu ray player at the time I got this, so I couldn't test them, but so far disc one is just fine. I really hope the others work just fine or else.EDIT: Disc 2 for season one freezes a few seconds on one episode while the other discs work fine. I blame it on how the discs a packages. I really wished they were in their own separate trays instead of three discs stacked on top of each other in two separate trays.

Captivating; for a mature audience
Excellent with lots of action, adult themes, some nudity, language, violence and gore. Underneath all that is a good story with excellent acting and special effects. Super heroes with flaws, corruption in the firm that markets them, and drama everywhere. Really well done.
