Perfect Eggs Every Time – A Kitchen Must-Have!
I absolutely love this egg cooker! It has completely changed my breakfast routine. Whether I want soft, medium, or hard-boiled eggs, it delivers consistent results every time with zero guesswork. It’s super easy to use—just add water with the included measuring cup, pop in the eggs, and let it do its magic.Cleanup is a breeze, and it’s compact enough to store easily or leave out on the counter. I’ve even used it to make poached eggs and omelets, and they come out great too. It's fast, efficient, and perfect for busy mornings.Highly recommend this egg cooker to anyone who loves eggs but hates watching the stove. Total game-changer!

Change in pace & grateful for it.
This was recommended by my mother, it is a cloud it does hold enough eggs to make the potatoe salad or egg salad. It is easy to use and works great. Read the directions before you use it and it will be worth your while in the kitchen

You won't be disappointed
I've had many egg cookers. But this one is better than any of them. Love the stainless steel water well. Only used a few times, but no discoloration yet. I also use distilled water. Egge come out exactly how you want them. So easy. Scrambled are fluffy. Poached are perfect. There is no screaming done button! Just a nice beeping sound.Very pleased. And the price was great.

Works great!
I love this thing. Best $13 I have spent on a kitchen appliance. I eat so many hard boiled eggs for breakfast and this makes it a breeze to do. I would highly recommend this. It cuts down so much time with boiling water and what not. This times it for you and is so easy to use.

Works, but meh... updated to mmmm.
Updated 4-star review...Seeing my original 3-star review the company support staff contacted me and offered a new "improved" water measuring cup and asked for an update on this review after using. Done. Here it goes...I have now cooked 3-dozen eggs (2 to 6 at a time) to test the new measuring cup. The results were much better now, especially since I improved my technique. The new measuring cup has a highly readable black and more simplified scale graticules (compared with the nearly invisible graticules on orig cup). I think the repeatability of results was poor because I couldn't read the marks well with the orig cup.And I do like the shell piercing point on the cup... I have no idea what good it does, but it does seam like a good idea. This egg cooker cycle depends entirely on the timed evaporation or water... a well proven design technique. The more water you use the longer the eggs cook.1) The chosen amount of water is poured onto the boiler (hot plate) at the bottom of the unit. The cycle starts when you push the start button.2) Boiling water turns to steam at a nearly constant 212º F/100ºC, which cooks the eggs nicely and gently.3) When all the water boils out, the temp of the heating plate climbs above a 100º+C set point and the bi-metalic power switch snaps and turns the heater off.I would now recommend the cooker if you follow one simple step...• As soon as the egg timer clicks, move the eggs into a pan of cold water to stop internal cooking quickly. If you don't cool the eggs down promptly, the hot eggs' own internal temp will further cook the eggs. This is true no matter how you cook the eggs. The extra heat will cause the outside of the yolk to turn green, the yolk will dry out and the eggs can get rubbery.Remember, the hot plate is still hot after the switch snaps off and it, too, will further cook the eggs as the plate cools down over time.I think this is the reason why some of my eggs over-cooked until rubbery. It didn't matter how much water I poured in if I left the eggs in the cooker for them to overcook.Note to Maxi-Matic manufacturer: the subtle clicking volume when the switch clicks off is too low to be heard unless you are near it when it finishes cooking. It would be an excellent improvement to have the cooker sound out a 'beeeep' when done so it can be heard around the kitchen easily and the cook can get the eggs into some cool water promptly....Original 3-star review...My thoughts were that this cute cooker would save me time and mess when I cook up my fave hard boiled eggs. It does and it doesn't. I've tested for different results by varying the amount of water used in the cooking and the number of eggs cooked at one time. The fiddly bits of making hard boiled (HB) eggs are easier and simpler but the results are a bit denser and tougher (over cooked), some yolks have a greenish patina and sometimes whites are more yellowish (from the heat) than doing it my proven way... **Haven't tested the scrambled eggs or omelet functions because I don't eat them, but it might be nice to cook those egg dishes without oil or butter.I prefer the results that experience has honed and have gone back to that method...** Sometimes I cook up to a dozen eggs at a time so I have two ready for me on egg mornings... and an HB egg or two readily available for salads, etc. Now I have a new appliance to donate to the thrift store.[**Bring eggs to boil from cold water (5-min, remove from heat immediately and let stand for 15 min, pour out the hot water and replace with cold water (5 to 10-min) to stop the cooking... this method has always produced delicately cooked HB eggs with no gray-green around the yolk, ever, and no yellow in the whites. ]

Perfect little egg cooker
Aww man what a great invention! I bought this egg cooker after my traditional egg boiler final died on me. I was initially hesitant to buy it because I was used to the boiler, but wow what an upgraded. The egg cooker size is small, just perfect for steaming, poaching, or omeleting (think I made that word up) eggs so it won't take up a lot of space. I appreciate the stainless steel finish as it's easy to clean. The device has one button on it and once you've loaded it with the appropriate water level (see the plastic sizer cup included), put the egg holder you need in, and put the cover on, press that on button. And it cooks the eggs for as long as the water you put in it takes to evaporate cooking the eggs to perfection every time. Just note that when steaming hard shell eggs, the eggs may have some of the protein escape from the egg and drip into water on heat source and burn once the water has all evaporated but it's not a big deal. Just needs a little clean up (I use white vinegar) and the cooker is ready to go again. Also worry not about the eggs tasting burnt. That doesn't occur. If you eat a lot of eggs like I do, you'll love this thing. It's amazing. I highly recommend it!👏

Loving my little egg cooker. It’s perfect.
Love this little egg cooker. Where has this been all my life. It is so easy and the eggs are perfect, peel so easy. Take anyway anything in my kitchen but my cute little egg cooker. Very quiet and the alarm when done is just the right sound, easy to hear in another room. I never comment on these things but this every kitchen should have one. I am making a scrambled tomorrow and I am sure it will be perfect. Cooking with steam so healthy.

Hard boiled eggs in minutes. No more boiling
Absolutely love this. I at first was worried it wasn’t large enough as it only holds 7 eggs, but after using it several times it is the perfect size. I followed the directions for hard boiled eggs and they came out perfect. Cook time was quick. Easily stores away when not in use but small enough to leave out on counter without taking up space.
