Nice Set
A few years ago I was given a set of this flatware. The pieces are larger than some others I’ve had and just the right weight for me. Later, I bought a set as a gift for my son.Recently I noticed a sale so I purchased another set to increase the place settings. Totally satisfied!

Much More than I Expected!
As mentioned by at least one other reviewer, our household had been mysteriously plaqued by the strange disappearance of kitchen utensils. Recently the rate at which the spoons & forks evaporated seemed to be increasing at an alarming rate. This nicely priced flatware set appeared to be a suitable short term solution to restore our flatware inventory to normalcy. This set is so much more than we were expecting, based on the product's description and some reviews. No, they don't bend easily, they're a nice medium weight and arrived in pristine condition. The finish seems nice & smooth and it would seem unlikely to ever rust or corrode, unless you use acid rather than normal tap water for normal cleaning. This is an extremely well made & subtley attractive set.Another piece of good news; we've identified the perpatrator responsible for the missing pieces. As I strongly believed all along, it was the same culprit responsible for the ongoing epedimic of lost single socks in our neighborhood. These shiny new tools now reside peacefully in our kitchen drawer, knowing they've found a good, permanent home.If you've had to deal with a similar situation or just need a new set of very nice flatware, I strongly recommend this product. Not to mention, it's another great Amazon value.

It's a good size amount of flatware. Nothing fancy, but good set for the price.
Went through the dishwasher fine. Good for everyday use. Go with something else if you're planning on entertaining royalty.

Sturdy, simple, perfect
After shopping and debating for days, weeks even over what flatware to order for my new place I went with the simplicity and quality offered by this set. I read reviews carefully and overall, agreed that for the cost and workmanship these would do just fine.Likes:One solid piece, which is nice because the chance of rusting is less likely.Good weight and feel.Simple design.Ample place settings and sizes of flatware is not too small or large.Serving/hostess pieces set is nice as well.Dislike:None so far. Have been washing and using for a week with no problems both dishwasher and by hand. (No lemon detergent.)The bonus steak knives are of the expected quality of free add-on's; flimsy, fairly cheap, usable. (But they sure came in handy since I haven't ordered a new set yet)*If you're buying this set for the steak knives you're in the wrong place .*Maybe when I make my next move to a house I can justify a $80-100+ set, this is exactly what I was looking for a needed.

Very awesome set
I already had sets of 2 of the tablespoons, big forks, and butter knives. I needed a new flatware set that was easy to clean and very lightweight. So I was thrilled when I found this set that those older utensils are from, and all the extras that came with it. 8 sets of all, serving utensils, and 8 steak knives. Plus with my gift card balance and amazon points, I was able to get the whole thing for $3!!!! Doesn't get better than that.I hand wash only so I have not had any rust issues. Just water spots but that's not a big deal to me. They're strong and handle most anything I've done.

Value for price
Nice sturdy utensils. Great value for the price, for standard flat wear, especially for the amount in this set.

Too thin and lightweight, but worth the price
This set is inexpensive, so I feel badly downrating it. It's a traditional style which is hard to find, so if this is your budget perhaps you want this for your DR table. But I have been buying this style since I was married in the 1980s. My other sets were by Retroneu ( from Bloomingdales) and Wallace and International. They were nice and heavy, looked close to real silver. Apparently the good ones are 18/08 or 18/10 stainless. This very lightweight set is, I think, 18/0. You can feel the difference. Apparently Wallace still makes this 18/10, so after sending this back to Amazon I ordered it from Mikassa. But it is much, much, much more expensive. And I haven't seen it yet to know if I will like it. The photo looks the same, but customer service at Mikassa told me the Wallace Baguette seems to look the same as this but is heavier. These utensils are, as I said, very thin and lightweight. The stainless knife handles are almost as thin as cardboard, less than 1/8 inch thick. The steak knives are very nice. I should give credit for that. The serving pieces are excellent also. But the forks, spoons, etc. are quite thin. But maybe they dishwash well, and perhaps there is some advantage to being lightweight. Maybe they are long lasting which I would not know, as I just ordered the set. This may be a decent set for some people.
