ZOSI DVR with 2tb Drive
The new Zosi DVR with 2tb harddrive arrived fast, was safely packed and arrived without box damage. It is now the 2nd ZOSI product I have purchased. The 1st one was a full system with 12 cameras. It has worked flawlessly since the day I set it up. I have 5 cameras left over from it to use with this new DVR. I feel that Zosi manufactures great and dependable equipment. This seller was prompt to ship and sent me exactly what I wanted.

Great replacemnt for my ZOSI Home Security Camera System
Great replacemnt for my ZOSI Home Security Camera System that quit working after 7 years. It was easier and cheaper to replace the recording unit and plug in the existing cameras. It was good chouce and I;m happy with the replacement.

Inconsistent and Unreliable Operation. Randomly Stops Recording.
This dvr was set up with factory default settings to send alerts and record video when there is motion detection on a camera.It does operate correctly for a few hours at a time, after which it does continue to detect motion and send alert,s however it stops recording video. It does resume normal operation, but only if a "system maintenance" is performed, either manually or on a scheduled basis,This makes it essentially useless. In fact we did have an unauthorized access to our garage during one of the dead times, and there was no recording of the intrusion.I can live with the fact that the remote apps for smartphone and pc are both clunky and cumbersome, but a unit with inconsistent and unreliable operation is useless.I did have lengthy interaction with the support team on this issue. To their credit, they were prompt in their responses, however their guidance completely failed to address the issue - all they were able to do was to review the basic settings of the unit, and their suggestions for a fix were ineffectual and sometimes contradictory.To make matters worse, the issue developed shortly after the closing of the post-purchase return window, so I am stuck with what is essentially a bulky paperweight,I recommend against the purchase and use of this unit for anyone who requires a reliable security system with predictable operation.

Easy setup but hard to get questions answered and some odd issues
Added 3/1/25 - Something strange happened when I checked it this morning. The date jumped ahead to 3/2 on 3/1. The time of day was correct, but I'm wondering if there is some kind of bug in the software involving Feb having only 28 days. It may also have something to do with the time being set by GMT +/-, but the time was right, only the date jumped ahead. I reset the date, but it said data might be lost in doing so. Not sure what is going on there, but I will watch it closely going forward.I was very impressed at how easy this is to set up. A few strange things like you can't type in the time of day, you have to select +/- GMT. There are some strange things that are not in the manual or in the support questions. One example is the little square at the lower left corner of each camera that is yellow for some and green for others. I'm trying to find out what that means. If you try to contact ZOSI they only answer questions for customers that bought the product directly from them. While I like the DVR overall, I think I'm on my own to figure out some of the issues on my own by trial and error.
