This is fine if you are just looking for a charge port, but doesnt seem to be able to carry power, data and video simultanously.I bought this so I could connect my PSVR2 to my PS5 without opening my cabinet door every time, but the tracking on the headset does not work when going through this.

great item arrived quickly.

Used to create an USB socket in a Euro faceplate.The end on the short trailing lead is a female USB socket, so I needed a USB male back to back connector to attach my USB data cable in the wall.

I purchased the USB 3.0 Panel Mount Socket with the expectation of utilizing it for both power supply and data transfer purposes, as one would expect from a USB 3.0 device. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been deeply unsatisfactory.

Initially I was only getting sound from one channel, testing with a multimeter showed the other channel had a short to ground. Unscrewed the cover on the trailing socket and sure enough the ground wire was touching one of the other terminals. Not a difficult fix, but an annoying waste of time troubleshooting to identify this faceplate as the source of the issue.
