Loving these - the prints are fairly gender neutral if you are concerned about that sort of thing, and the towels are quite soft and nice. The hood helps a lot with drying the hair. I have read some negative reviews about these suggesting these are not very absorbent - they are more than sufficient for drying a baby. As a point of reference, they are much more absorbent than a typical sports or quick-dry towel, pretty close to a standard adult towel. Reviews mentioning thinness are fair - this is a fairly thin towel, probably suitable for summers or warmer climates. I would also buy something thicker for cooler homes and climates.

Great material that is very absorbent. My child loves these towels. The hooded ends of it are great to cover the head every time after bath to keep a child warm. Nice design and easy to clean. Decent sized and will last us a few good months before buying something bigger.

These towels are thin as some of the other reviewer mention but that doesn't bother me because they are very absorbent the stretchiness makes it easy to swaddle the baby right out of the bath. I can see how it could be an issue if I didn't make sure the room was nice and warm before the bath--it would not be thick enough to keep the baby warm right out of the water. Also, it's just the right size for a baby from newborn to few months old. But I think my baby will outgrow these--this feet will stretch beyond the length of the towel--soon and I will have to get something bigger. I would rather have purchased more of the Ikea hooded towels which are bigger and thicker.

Super adorable towels. Compared to some other baby towels I have received these ones are a little bit thicker and larger, which is nice. You could still use these on a 2-3 year old. Not thick like an adult sized towel but great for baby. We love these!

This is a great gift for expecting moms! Very soft and cute. I love the little hood and they soak up every drop. Remember to wash your towels and clothes before using them!

I ordered these for my 2 almost 3 month old daughter, I got microfiber towels at my baby shower and after using them.. I hate them, everything sticks to them and they just don’t absorb that good. These are super cute, the right size, and so soft!

They are really absorbent, and they are big, they will be good for at least the first year or 2, maybe 3 if you have a little little one. My only problem is I wish they were a little thicker. My house is really cold, so once I get her out, it is a quick dry off, diaper and lotion on and then into a blanket. I wish these towels were a little thicker, but absolutely perfect in every way.
