Lifted my CX-5 like it wasn't even there. Felt super stable. Lowered the car slowly with lots of control and easily could adjust the handle to change the release speed. Would recommend

**Updated review**. I found that the customer service number listed on the Amazon page was for Canada Customer service. Once somebody finally answered the phone there, I was given the proper number for the USA customer service. The gentleman there was able to help me with my issue and sent out the required repair parts. After about a 20 minute repair, the jack is working great.I bought this jack to help my son work on his VW beetle. The jack right out of the box was real hard to tighten the handle and get the jack to hold pressure. I have owned a few of these jacks over the years and never had one this hard to use. I initially believed that is was just excessive paint on the end of the handle and this was causing the action of tightening the jack, and releasing the pressure to be from the excessive paint. I deburred the paint drips off both the end of the handle, and inside the end of the jack where the handle goes. This helped relieve the amount of force that the handle took to turn, but this jack still will not seal without extreme pressure. So basically the jack cannot over the downward pressure of the springs unless you grip it with 2 hands, and really crank on it.So once you crank on it and get the car in the air, you have no control of releasing the pressure slowly to lower the car in a controlled manor. You finally get the handle to "unscrew" and it is no far backed off that the car is going all the way down.I have tried to call customer service a few times, and have never actually got anybody on the phone. Unfortunately it was passed the Amazon Return time before I removed from the box, and drove to my son's house to work on his VW.

Works very well, lifts vehicles including full size pickup trucks, very easily. Seems very well built and like it will be durable. Great size for pickup trucks and suvs. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is a few times I was unable to lower the vehicle as slowly as I would have liked to (release stuck just a little when I was twisting the handle to begin lowering the vehicle); however, I would buy this again (although I don’t think I will need a new jack for a long time). I like the fact that this is a well-made tool. The wheels under the loaded end are a relatively large diameter and wide enough to support the rated load on the work surface. The "automatic" two-speed function is also very nice. The lift moves to load contact with just a couple of pumps and then "shifts" to a slower speed for lifting the load while maintaining a relatively low effort input.Also, I like the cushion around the lower end of the lift handle that reduces the chance of damage to the vehicle from the handle returning to the vertical orientation when released.

I bought it on sale after reading the reviews and deciding to take a risk. The jack arrived on my porch while I was away and sat there for a week. (If someone wanted to steal it, which would require lifting it up, they earned it lol) once I opened it I noticed the packaging is insufficient for the mass of the thing. This makes sense, considering how many reviews cite complete failure. I think it depends on your carrier. The jack is pretty heavy and is easily assembled. The manual has a spare parts list which is handy, but if there are any issues, I update reviews so you may count this as a solid 5 star review for the jack. It is best to check for function and any leaks or damage first before attempting to lift anything substantial. I tested mine on myself first, then let it sit under a vehicle with pressure for a few hours to ensure there is no noticeable bleed-off. Use capacity-relavent jack stands, folks.

This is heavy duty, I just used it to lift my 1 ton pick-up to rotate the tires, it weighs a lot but did the job great- pumps up fast ,and its lift range allows me to push up at most any location w/o any blocking.

I’m not entirely convinced by all these glowing reviews. I find the Jack to be quite slow, contrary to the advertised “fast lifting” action. While it may indeed fast lift with zero weight, putting a load on it requires a significant number of pumps to lift a single wheel off the ground. Additionally, I found the handle to be difficult to turn and lock. It took a lot of force to twist the handle completely closed, allowing the Jack to lift. As a result, I returned it.
