Best Sugar Substitute I’ve Tried
I use this every day in my smoothies and love it. It dissolves easily and doesn’t have that weird fake taste like most other sugar substitutes. Just a clean, sweet flavor that tastes and looks really close to real sugar. It’s zero calories and zero carbs, which is perfect if you’re watching your sugar or trying to stay low-carb. It is a little pricey, but honestly worth it. The bag is large and easily lasts me for months, even with every day use. I’d rather pay a bit more for something that actually tastes good and doesn’t mess with my stomach. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now.

Great taste
I love this as a sugar substitute for my coffee and tea and it is very good for you. Price is very good on Amazon compared to other grocery stores.

Expensive, But Worth It if You're Pre-Diabetic Like Me
Monkfruit tastes like sugar (no artificial sweetener aftertaste) because it's make from a plant that originated in China. It contains no sugar, so it's safe for diabetics. It has no side affects. It's more expensive than regular sugar, but well worth the difference! 😀

Great Sugar Substitute, Just Needs a Bit More to Match Sweetness
I’ve been using Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener for a while now as part of cutting back on sugar, and overall I’m really happy with it. It has a clean, pleasant taste with none of the weird aftertaste that a lot of other sugar substitutes seem to have. It works great in coffee, baking, and even sauces. That said, I’ve noticed that it takes just a little more than a 1:1 sugar replacement to really hit the same level of sweetness—especially in baking or anything where sweetness is front and center. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you're adjusting recipes.Still, the fact that it’s zero calorie and has a low glycemic impact makes it totally worth it. I feel better using it, and I don’t miss real sugar at all. Just expect to tweak your ratios a bit for that perfect sweet spot.

AMAZON PACKAGED BADLY- bag got cut open inside the box :( Great sweetener but some got spilled out
AMAZON- DON'T PUT SMALL HEAVY SHARP OBJECTS TOGETHER WITH A THIN PLASTIC BAG OF FOOD PRODUCT WITHOUT ANY WRAPPING INTO ONE ENORMOUS BOX WHERE THEY WILL SLAM AROUND DURING SHIPPING! YOU ARE DAMAGING ITEMS BY PACKING BADLY :( :( :( Love the Lakanto sweetener, no chemical aftertaste, handy for guests who don't eat sugar. I don't use a lot because I find it easier to avoid sweets rather than try to substitute for all the sugar I used to eat! But, I stir a spoonful into a pan of frozen strawberries and finish with a squeeze of lemon to make strawberry sauce for plain cakes, shortcake, and to top yogurt, cereal, ice cream etc. A teaspoonful in a mug of cocoa powder, tastes better imho than packaged cocoa mix with sugar & salt. It seems to work fine for baking, I typically use less sweetener than recipes call for. I've used it to sweeten dark chocolate, to dip berries or make walnut-cranberry turtles, with unsweetened dried cranberries.

As Close as I Could Get
Lakanto Monk Fruit sweetener was about as close as I could get to a satisfying sugar substitute. I've tried them all, but this one is the best one I've found. Lakanto's is always good and always consistent. I have a bag delivered every 3 weeks from Amazon. "They" say one teaspoon of monk fruit sweetener is equal to one teaspoon of sugar. That hasn't been my experience. For my coffee, I add two heaping teaspoons of monk, and then about another half teaspoon to get it to my liking, whereas two teaspoons of sugar used to work for me. Your results may vary. I haven't used it for anything other than sweetening my coffee or tea, but for those uses, it works great. If you're on a quest for the perfect sugar substitute, you're never going to find it. But this one is really close!
