Great tiny kettle for maximum control doing a pour over
This is a fantastic pour over kettle, if you could call it that. It's tiny...and I don't know that it would be great for heating the water but what I do is heat it to boiling in my electric kettle, then dump it into this. It's super easy to do and allows me to have incredible control when I'm pouring. It's worth every penny for this usage. I believe it has a capacity of 12 oz, which is perfect for me.

Impressive and affordable gooseneck
Purchased this during our vacation at an airbnb as I was having trouble with preparing our pour over coffee in the morning. I had thought I could make due with just a regular kettle. However, to my surprise, I really enjoyed the size and flow/control from this little (and inexpensive) kettle. I've enjoyed it so much, that I even use this at home instead of my EKG Stagg at home. This does add extra work for our workflow, but I enjoy the flow of this kettle so much, that I've incorporated this into my current workflow.

Perfect solution for controlled pours!
I am new to the pour over coffee game. I'm not a perfectionist about it, but I needed a way to pour more slowly than I could from my electric kettle. I did not want to purchase anything large or complicated. This little pouring cup works fantastically! It holds 12 oz of water if you fill it to the top of the handle. It might seem like you would not be able to pour without spilling with it this full, but it pours brilliantly even completely full to the top. As another reviewer mentioned, the handle remains remarkably cool even when this solid metal kettle is filled with boiling water. The rate of pour is perfect for my one cup cone pour over dripper. It is compact enough to fit in my cabinet right alongside of my coffee cups. This is a good thing because I live in a very small home with limited storage. This is exactly the easy, uncomplicated, and minimalist addition to my coffee routine that I was looking for.And as a bonus, it is absolutely perfect as a little watering can for my house plants!

Simple and effective
A little pricey for what it is, but it seems to be a solid purchase. Pourability is smooth and the weight is light. It is 12 oz if you fill it to the brim. So if you are needing to boil 12 oz water, I would caution you and recommend purchasing one of these with a larger capacity (for the sake of preventing a boil over and burn risks). I needed this to boil 10 oz of water, which I would them pour into my Chemex (coffee maker). When I filled it with 10 oz of water, it was approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the brim. After boiling the water in this, I did not notice any strange tastes... mind you, I did pour the water into my coffee makers.

A great first gooseneck kettle to dabble in single cup coffee pourover brewing.
This is a very good, extremely affordable, gooseneck kettle for precise low flow pouring. It is very small though so you need another kettle to heat the water in. This is great for single cup coffee brewing.

The opposite of an Italian Fancy Pants!
Let me tell you about my rollercoaster romance with kettles. Six months ago, I fell head over heels for a fancy Italian stainless steel kettle. I thought it was 'The One' – sleek, shiny, Italian – what could possibly go wrong? Well, everything! This supposed knight in shining armor turned out to be more of a couch potato. It lounged on my stove, hogging space, and gave me lukewarm water for my morning coffee – talk about low-effort!Then, in a moment of sheer genius (or maybe desperation), I banished Mr. Fancy Pants to the garage and brought in this unassuming, budget-friendly kettle. Folks, it was like switching from a donkey to a Ferrari! This little dynamo heated water so fast, I barely had time to find my favorite mug. And it’s so compact, I think it’s making friends with the sugar jar.But wait, here's the showstopper: the handle! It's like it went to etiquette school – it stays cool, calm, and collected, never once scalding my fingers. Every morning, it's like a polite butler serving me boiling water. In conclusion, if you're seeking a kettle that's more reliable than a Swiss watch and cooler than a cucumber in a snowstorm, this is your guy. This kettle doesn’t just boil water; it restores faith in kitchen appliances! Worth every penny and then some!

Super nice little pouring kettle!
Nicest pouring kettle I have used! I have been making pour-over coffee for decades, and own many different brewers, and have had quite a few kettles...most of them super expensive. Not willing to spend almost $200 for a kettle now, but want the ability to have a nice, precise pouring spout. So, I purchased a small (1L) variable-temp boiler for under $35 dollars and this little pot. Truly, it pours better than any kettle I have had, and I like that I can set it on my scale, fill it from my teapot to the volume that I want, and dont have to put my cup/filter on the scale. The quality is excellent; all edges finished and smooth, well balanced and a nice hi-reflective polish. I think this is a deal for under $10!

Super convenient
This is really nice for pour over coffee . It's quality and inexpensive. Although it isn't super large and can't regulate temperatures, it's way nicer than having another special teapot on the counter . It's lightweight and easy to use and clean . It's a tad small but quality
