Q: Is this product actually made in Germany or is it a Chinese product disguised by a German name?

Chinese disguised as German. It looks nice but don’t be fooled by German name. I can hardly get a spark out of it. Junk.

Q: How long is the actual ferro part of the rod not covered by wood?

Over 2.75" of ferro rod is exposed.

Q: Does the firesteel fit in a standard sheath loop? Thanks.

My personal Zünden fits perfectly in my Morakniv Bushcraft sheath. 5/16" should fit nicely in most sheaths. :) You can even swap out the included cord for some shock cord, to loop-lock the rod in place.

I have the Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter Knife and it fits the loop in the leather sheath perfectly.
