Now a 2 laptop home
We needed an extra laptop in the house. I use mine for video editing and VFX. I tied it up most of the time. This PC works terrific.

Junk
Bought two of these and had to return both. The first one arrived and had a defective wireless card and would not connect to a network, which is required to set up Win11 (no ethernet port on this laptop). So I returned it and purchased another one same day as I shipped the return because I could not wait 3 weeks for an exchange. The second one arrived 3 days later and I did manage to get it set up and it worked fine for a couple of days. Then it would no longer power on. Completely dead. Tried leaving it connected to charger overnight. Still dead next morning. So I returned that one as well. And bought an Acer instead (which works great!).Be careful to review the return policy. Amazon does clearly states the return policy, but buyer beware. Both of my purchases were from Amazon Marketplace sellers, marked with Amazon Prime and "Shipped from Amazon". Amazon will not refund computer purchases until after they receive the item back and have time to inspect the product. Then it takes 7 days to go back to your credit card. It is not like most Prime purchases where you get the refund almost immediately after UPS scans the return package. On my first return, it took 3 weeks. That was from Seller "Snow Bell" and I eventually got a full refund. Then the second return took another 3 weeks, so I was carrying $1200 on my credit card while having to purchase a third replacement elsewhere (another $700 on my credit card). And now I am fighting with Seller named "AmazingDeal Arrived" on the second return as they are trying to charge me a $231 "restocking fee" despite the fact the laptop was damaged/defective and the restocking fee is inapplicable. Very frustrating and basically had to put $2k on my credit card and carry $1200 for 3-6 weeks waiting for refunds.

Powerful for the price.
I ordered two of these at the same time, but one of the warranties expired a full three months before the other. I was not able to downgrade to Windows 10 pro from a third party or upgrade to 11 pro either. There is no OS recovery disk or USB included to return the system to its factory original state. My wife loves the touch screen and I am able to run some pretty heavy virtualization loads one mine. All in all, we are both very satisfied.

buena maquina
hasta ahora, después de un mes y medio de uso, funciona bien. Para el que no sabe de informática debe recordar que todo está configurado para Estados Unidos (si sos de otro país) y el MSoffice 365 dura 5 días su activación.

Item not as described
Item not as described. Supposed to be an Inspiron 3511, it is actually an Inspiron 3520 that has had more RAM added and a larger SSD put in. The side of the box it came in has a label showing it as a 3520, and a smaller label put over the original label showing 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. However, I peeled that label off and the original label underneath it shows 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD, so RAM was added and the SSD was swapped out to a larger one. Those two photos are included. You can see the box as I received it and what the original box label looked like after I peeled the one on top of it off.How I learned of this was that I noticed the Dell service tag is different in Dell update (which is also the one on the tag on the bottom of the PC) as compared to what shows in MyDell. Dell Support Assist will not install because of that difference, so I cannot run any of the Dell diagnostics. The service tag also shows it was built in 2023, so it could be close to two years old.It runs great and the price was great (I paid $684 for an Inspiron 15 I bought directly from Dell in 2018) so I will keep it, and I did purchase the two year extended warranty so I'm not too worried, but the item is clearly not as described. Just be advised of that.Note: Different sellers are selling these, mine came from Cardinal Pro Electronics.Edit: I was able to resolve the service tag issue on my own (no help at all from Dell Support, who told me to return it to the seller), get it registered and install Dell Support Assist, so it's good to go. One thing they did tell me was that it was built in September 2023, so it's a little more than a year old. It looks new and since it came in the original factory box, I'm assuming it is new, but its just been sitting somewhere for a year. And has been modified, of course. Still running great.
