Works exactly as expected! The laser is extremely bright and easily visible in daylight.

Love it! Curtain rods, shelving, pictures. All *perfectly* level. Plus, the vertical line makes measuring and marking so much faster than with a pencil, tape measure, and spirit level.Downsides: The gimble is pretty sensitive, so any bumps and it tends to dance a while.Also, when you "lock" it, it just locks in a random position, not in the perfectly level position.It flashes rapidly if you've tilted it out of range, and (bonus feature) flashes slowly when in "locked" position to indicate that it's not free to seek perfect level. (nice)For the price, it's well worth it.

It is a good level, but you are stuck with both vertical an horizontal lines at once, no way to change to only one line. Besides that, you get a couple of solid fine well defined lines.

I have a Bosch +$100 version and this does just as well. In fact, I like this version better and wish these mfgrs would incorporate magnets right in the body. The magnet L bracket has its use, but many times unnecessary.So, see my modification to this laser level, made possible by a nearly perpendicular backside. I simply glued two earth magnets to the body. This still allows for the use of the L bracket and provides the extra functionality of tacking directly onto a drywall corner bead. For even better control, use a $1 (when on sale) magnet tool bar holder from Harbor Freight, and you have a quick and simple way to use this laser level with easy controlled vertical positioning.And if you really want to take this to the next level, use this setup with a Fastcap 3rd Hand Support Pole (which is made of metal). The Pole jacks between the floor and ceiling. Attach the magnetic toolbar to the Pole (better stability because of the flat surface), and you can position your laser level at the center of a room and swivel the Pole as needed (saving from the need for the more expensive versions of these laser levels). If you don't have one of these Poles, they can come in pretty handy, especially if you frequently work alone.At a minimum, add the earth magnets Huepar. Or I just may need to file a patent design😉

This leveler is excellent! It's incredibly easy to use and provides accurate, consistent results, making any leveling task a breeze.

Have used this multiple times and has been very accurate and handy, used it in my garage with the garage open so it was very bright and could still see the lines after setting it up as needed. Mounted it on a camera tripod I had laying around and accidentally tipped it over once but withstood that easily. Durable and easy to use, can't recommend more

The laser itself seems to work well, including self leveling. Very disappointed in how poorly it shows up in bright areas. It will not work outside, even in a cloudy day. For the price it's adequate

The item was hardly usable. The light kept blinking, and I couldn’t even use it to install the frames on the wall as intended. There’s no way to raise the height of the laser when placing objects higher up, which makes it very limiting. In my opinion, it’s only useful if paired with a tripod; at least a 7-inch tripod otherwise, it doesn’t serve its purpose well. Disappointed with this purchase
