Try it your amps effects loop
I put it in the effects loop of my Orange 35RT and turned down its midrange. I'm able to mid scoop the upper end of the low frequency, and it's absolutely sublime. I tried a 12 band eq and couldn't quite get it, this pedal makes it easy.

The best
I love this pedal and have no idea what I would do without it. Does exactly what it says it does, Boost your mids “booooo”.

Spooky Pedal
The pedal sounds great. If your give it clean power, it runs without any noise at all. The sweep of mid frequencies is relatively limited. So, it doesn't go as low or as high frequency as some pedals might, but that means the control is easy to dial in because it's consistent and not 'touchy'. The exact circuit is present on the PG-13 pedal, but that pedal doesn't have the toggle switch and it isn't as spooky. Man I love that ghost logo. 👻

Really great for medium to high gain Marshall-like tones
I'm using this pedal as part of a setup for low-volume practice and recording at home. The Sweet Tea runs into a DI box that has a built-in cabinet simulator, and then that goes into my audio interface. The Sweat Tea excels at higher gain Marshall rock tones (think AC/DC), and the built-in boost is great for leads. The boost side of the pedal is extremely versatile, enough to be thought of as a second amp channel. I really like the inclusion of a wet/dry mix knob on the boost side of the pedal. The only downside to this pedal is that it really isn't useful for lower gain and clean tones. I know that JHS makes the Charlie Brown pedal for lower gain tones. Maybe we will see a "Sweeter Tea" pedal in the future that includes the ability to switch between the Charlie Brown and Angry Charlie voices? Both pedals have the exact same number of knobs with the same functionality...

Best pedal on the planet!!!
This is the best dirt/high gain pedal ON THE PLANET! I am a HUGE fan of Andy Timmons and live in the near vicinity. Listening to his tone never gets old and is the Holy Grail of tones in my humble opinion. After watching lots of videos and other feedback, I had to have it. I ordered this from Chicago Music Exchange and I had the pedal in my hands in 2 days. What I didn't expect from CME was they added some nice stickers and a couple of picks for a finishing touch. This pedal has the best articulation I have ever heard from a gain pedal of any kind and has 3 modes (25 watt, 50 watt and 100 watt). It didn't take me long to dial in a tone that I like which has great singing sustain without getting in the way or muddy. I have this in front of a Peavey Classic 30 into a 2 x 12 sealed cabinet with Eminence Speakers and I have INCREDIBLE tone. Don't walk, but run and get one of these pedals. You will not be disappointed or have buyers remorse. This has a permanent spot on my pedal board until it dies.

Every pedal board should include a Haunting Mids
I bought this pedal to help round out some tone loss that was occuring while using a few different pedal chains. This pedal has quickly become my favorite and is always on. Anyone that wants to broaden their guitars tone, should invest in one of these pedals. I'm mad at myself for not picking one up earlier.

Improve the tone of your guitar !
I bought this pedal as a parametric equalizer. For that application it is superb! I placed it in different spots of my signal chain, and I got the best results right after my compressor pedal, 2nd in the chain. It really brightens the tone, and gives humbuckers more clarity. With single coils it gives a great boost, and brings my tele sound from great to fantastic! Now it's also described as a pre-amp; I didn't find it very useful for that application. It was rather noisy, and just didn't seem to have the same impact. Of course, you can go for mid scooped tones, by cutting the mids out, but that's not my cup of tea . Like all JHS pedals, it's well built and high quality. The packaging and presentation are also great, as you get a large sticker, a JHS pin, and a Gravity pick. VERY happy with my purchase!
