ADCTaylor Neuro Hammer, 3693BK,Black

I bought this for a child's doctor kit. It has been standing up really well to multiple toddlers. If anyone else is considering using them as a toy, making your own med kit for under $25 is possible and they have far more play value than those found in the toy section.

Works as intended. It's a reflex hammer, it's not a super high tech piece of equipment.The bottom of the handle is sharp so it can be used to test fine touch sensation during a neurological exam. I'm surprised so many reviewers with a medical education failed to realize this.For the price, it's perfect for a medical student or health professional student.

The reflex hammer is, well, a reflex hammer. There's not much more to be said. Contrary to other reviews, I ordered the black and received a hammer with a silver handle and black rubber head. It's nicely made and does not have an odor about it. I didn't pay attention to the texture on the head, however, and it took me by surprise. It's not a big deal but I wouldn't have necessarily chosen it. Otherwise it is a satisfactory product and it gets the job done.

As expected for the price. Light weight. Gets the job done. Not anything to cry over if it gets lost in clinic.

Solid product, the rubber is a bit softer than the red rubber hammers I've had in the past. Been using this one for 6 months or so.

I'm confused by the negative reviews. It is not uncomfortable to hold and it elicits a good reflex. It doesn't smell weird either. Amazing price & quick shipping.

Picked this up as a medical prop for a photo shoot. Cheap and works great.

This hammer is far too light to elicit consistent DTRs.

My son loves that he has some real bits and pieces in his doctors set. Can't fault it really, sturdy and does the job.

Pretty basic tendon hammer. Quite small but does the job. Handle is sturdy solid polished metal with rubber head. It’s not that long so you have to give it a bit more force to get a result but for the price it’s fine
