Better than I expected
The description says that Penelope can’t speak unless she selects from the multiple choice list provided by the game. This almost made me give the book a pass, but ###### (spoiler censored) ######. So it all worked out. ;-)The full color artwork is excellent and the story line is more engaging than I anticipated. I’m enjoying this a lot and look forward to more.

Fantasy Romance in Hard Mode
It starts off as a typical fantasy manhwa where the protagonist is in the modern world and she playing a particular otome game. Rather than being hit by truck-kun, she is simply transported to the world as soon as she wakes up from the grueling nights of playing the seemingly impossible to beat game. She assumes the role of the villain, Penelope Eckhart. She meets most of the target characters in the first volume with a preview of the other in the second volume. The intrigue comes as she soon realizes that she can likely die in this world and that there is no reset button like in the game. Now she has to reach100% affinity for one of the target characters in order to reach the ending that she could not achieve in hard mode. Penelope is a practical protagonist, who adjusts well to her surroundings by using her knowledge of the game. Typically, as a villainess she will have those that dislike her, but she uses the title well to assert herself. The art is simply stunning and as readers continue to read other volumes, it does not lose any of the beauty.

Glossy pages and good overall feel
I'm assuming other reviews will include context about the storyline and plot. I'd just like to review the actual book itself. - if you're sitting on the fence about the physical edition (either as a first time reader or you've read it previously digitally) it's a very good size. The content gets through the meeting in the garden, and the layout of panels isn't too jarring (not too much white space or etc). Pages are not the thickest (in bright light colors and outlines of the page before will shine through) but it's very high gloss and nice to look at. The actual book has a decent amount of weight to it and is fairly tall, but shouldn't overtax your bookshelf. All in all if you've ever wanted to own it in print I'd highly recommend, it looks great.

Unique and enjoyable
This is one of the more unique Isakai books I've read. The game is more stacked against Penelope than any I've seen before and she has fewer resources. The possible death is also much closer. However the writer does an excellent job of making it 8nteresting and keeping it from being hopeless. Really love this series.
