Does its job, hip thrust don't hurt at all. The downside is that it is so big that it changes the range of movement close to the floor, so it makes the range of movement shorter. I guess it's a compromise between comfort and in what range you want to train.

I never write reviews as I simply cba but this I feel the need to as it was a game changer. The foam pad in my gym is too think so I have to use a mat rolled up as well where as this is so thick and stays in place, I can go heavier and not get hip bruises anymore. The only negative is it is so long, it doesn’t fit in my gym bag so I keep it at the gym.

I used to lift 60kg and feel pain, with this I lift 120kg comfortable and it stays in place because of the velcro and thickness excellent quality

This is extremely thick, probably a little too thick which means I can't set up properly even with bumper plates. Once pushing up from the floor for the first rep, it pushes in to my stomach and I can't get my feet right before push off because its just that thick but once it's up its superb! Zero pain even on heavy weights.
